OK, its a challenging trail and its not for everyone. Pretty intense in parts so don't go in sandals on a leisurely stroll for sure.
I would say its a must if you are in St Lucia and you are reasonably fit. My average rating...More
Difficulty of the "climb" is not that high, guide books exagerate. There is nothing dangerous except the hot and humidity, which can be demanding. Ther route can be a bit muddy and slippery especially in the upper parts. And you will sweat a lot. Sportive...More
My new husband and I visited Saint Lucia for our honeymoon. When researching excursions we saw a Hike the Piton outing and thought that sounds like fun!
Well, I can tell you it wasn’t fun and it isn’t a hike, it is a climb.

This was an experience not to be missed. It was the first thing we planned when we decided to visit St. Lucia. Unfortunately, we made some rookie mistakes in our gear prep and Gros Piton kicked our butts pretty good. Fortunately, our guides (Cameron, Alvin...More
This was one of our "must dos" during our recent trip to St Lucia. We love hiking and thought this would be a great excursion.

The views all along the trail were amazing. The guides were awesome. At roughly 5' most of the hike was a climb and the trip down was slightly scary. I often had to sit down and slide to the step below. Probably wouldn't recommend if...More
Would definitely recommend for anyone looking to explore St Lucia. Took my girlfriend and I four hours (two up, two down). The views were extraordinary and the hike fun but challenging. We even managed to feed wild birds from our hands on the way one....More
Hiked to the Top of Gros Piton. There are stops 1/4, 1/2 and 3/4 the way up. It was raining lightly making the trail slippery. Th trail is about a mile long but 2000 feet in elevation. Think very steep stairs. The third section was...More
