We arrived by taxi, and our driver organised a local guide for us. There is no set fee for the guide you just tip at the end. The variety of plants on show is amazing for the size of the garden, which is not particularly...More

This was a lovely tour! My first regret is that I had not done it sooner! Our guide (he jokingly called himself Alexander the Great!) was very knowledgeable about all the flora and fauna of the grounds, not to mention the history and health benefits...More

Came here as part of a tour of the area. Loads of stunning local flowers and trees, a very photogenic waterfall and lovely relaxing mineral baths at a reasonable price.

The gardens are beautiful and I thoroughly recommend paying for a guided tour where the local knowledge of the fabulous plant and bird life enhances your visit. The Diamond Falls are picturesque and usually culminate the tour. We then had a lovely St. Lucian 3...More

If you've never seen a waterfall, definitely go. But if you have, this waterfall isn't very impressive.

For those who love plants, the botanical gardens are a must. The exotic plant life is gorgeous and you truly feel as if you've wandered into the jungle. The waterfall is also spectacular in person - the sound of the rushing water is so soothing....More

Enjoyed the Gardens. Learned several things. Self guided tour is easy or you can go with a tour guide.

This botanic garden in Soufriere boasts beautiful tropical plants with interesting descriptions. There is a picturesque waterfall and small, historic bathhouse with water heated naturally by the volcano. Great combination of interesting things to do in Saint Lucia.

We visited the Diamond botanical gardens to see the waterfall, which was beautiful. The gardens are small but are home to a wide range of plants and birds. A pleasant way to spend an hour.

The falls are about 2 hours from the cruise terminal. We rented a car and drove around, but that is risky. The safest bet would be a tour through the cruise or negotiate an all day tour with a taxi.

There is nothing strenuous about the walk. As with many of the sights, it is up to you as to how long you wish to stay. There are guides to take you around the garden to point out the various fauna that is there. There is... More
