Numerous stalls selling typical tourist items. Haggle a little, prices will come down some. Almost every stall has the same items so you don't need to visit every one of them.

We have visited the market in Marigot several times over the last several years. While much of the merchandise in the market is similar and manufactured in large quantities there are still some talented artists who display their craft. T-shirts and other common souvenirs are a bargain at the market, and there is always room to bargain. We typically eat... More

My cruise excursion group stopped here as a break from our Island Explorer Cruise and it was enjoyable. I found several shops where I enjoyed shopping. Low key.

This was the best market we visited in the Caribbean. The stalls were well stocked, the prices were reasonable and the people friendly. We made several purchases which we have been very happy with. Worth a visit and the location is picturesque.

We have been to a few similar type markets in central America and the Caribbean. We were a little disappointed at the one. Some nice things and some view of local culture; but not as good as others. Like all markets like this, make sure you negotiate the lowest price. You can get deals, often 5 to 15 less than... More

We come here every time we visit the island. Bought everything from hats to tee-shirts, jewelry, sun dresses (wife), and carved art. Be sure to bargain to get the best price. Proprietors will work with friendly bartering. Wide variety of things, a fair amount that are low-end, but some higher end items too. No visit is complete without a morning... More

Really mostly a bunch of junk for sale and everyone selling the same thing. Most of the vendors are rude, but not all. They hustle you to purchase their crap. Nice views though as it's close to the water front.

We only did a short tour of the Marigot Harbor area- to eat lunch and then to do a little boutique shopping. Tropicana is terrific. The owner, front man, is a delight. He has total control of the area where the restaurant is located so he gave us a nice breezy table that was perfect. I had shrimp scampi and... More
