George Dog is rated in the cruising guides as a good beginner scuba site. It is all that and more. Pristine coral, unbroken spires vibrantly alive. Countless reef fish, gorgeous sponges; all in 20 to 15 foot depths. One hour of excellent diving, only cut short because I got cold. My only regrets were I did not take my camera... More

One of our favorite places to go as a family on charter is great dog island. The marine park moorings offer a relaxing place to snorkel with amazing variety. For the relaxed, you can snorkel near the shore which offers wonderful underwater viewing, for the bold, you can free dive under the arch located off the point in 25' of... More

Great food and good wine with super service. Mussels and steak for the boys - what a treat. Best time to eat is From 7pm as 5pm slot can be quiet.

If you are on your own boat there are quite a few mooring bouys that you can use to visit the Dogs. They all have something of interest and the snorkelling and diving is generally very good (if quite shallow). Another good spot to hang out for a while.

Amazing location for snorkeling. Beautiful rocks, corals and abundant marine life. There are only 6 moorings. You will want to arrive early. The best snorkeling is just off the shore. The Dogs are well worth the visit!

Visited George Dog on January 9, 2007 on our way from Marina Cay to Bitter End at Virgin Gorda. Dropped the hook off George Dog in 60 feet of water. (We should have gone in closer),. Snorkeling was excellent between our boat and the shreline. Lots of coral and colorful tropical fish. One of our party had an encounter with... More
