We arrived on a very quiet afternoon. The lace was almost deserted. The long beach was lovely. Easy to walk, no rocky places and shade available when needed. The water had gentle waves and a sandy, firm bottom. Bliss.

My trip to Savannah bay was very enjoyable. My children enjoyed walking along the beach, swimming in the water - which is very child friendly - and the sunset from that beach was beyond words. I really appreciate that the beach is easily accessible and great for having a picnic with the family.

We had a fantastic day enjoying the beach and water at Savannah Bay. Only 10 other people on the beach. If you have a cooler and can pack a lunch, you should go! No services at the beach. Snorkeling is ok. The surf is easy to deal with. Great for relaxing or playing games on the beach.

This is one of the quietest and mellowest beaches on Virgin Gorda. The sand is silky and smooth, and there is a long slow entry into the sea so it is perfect for splashing around or for those who are not as confident swimming. Out a little bit further is some good snorkeling with a good range of fish as... More

We saw this beach from the road as we were driving into Spanish Town and decided to pull off and check it out. What a find! This is one great beach. It is hard to believe that hardly anyone has been at Savannah Beach the two times we have gone. There are shade trees you can sit under to read... More

The sea had been quite rough before we landed at Virgin Gorda Yacht Harbour and the dive shop there recommended this bay as likely to have been more sheltered and, thus, to have better visibility for snorkelling. We travelled there by taxi, which cost $12 each way. Unless you knew where the access track was located, you'd probably miss this... More

Narrow practically hidden drive off N Sound Rd. The beach is well kept and on week day mornings it is practically void of people. Water is usually a little too rough for snorkeling.

Lovely long white sand beach on the skinny part of Virgin Gorda. A favorite beach for tourists and locals alike. We didn't snorkel as the water was stirred up from the recent hurricane, but it was a great spot for a swim anyway. We hiked to Little Dix from Savannah, but don't go as the gate was padlocked at Little... More

This is the perfect place to go if you just want to get away from everything for awhile. Its not usually crowded (except for holidays). Great for a picnic (pack your own). Snorkeling is a must.

Lovely beach and not as crowded as others it's great for snorkelling, or just floating in the water like a bath and the views from the beach are just heavenly. I highly recommend this bay.
