Cayman's Best Shore Diving Cayman’s best value 2 tank dive! Eden Rock Diving Center is situated a short swim from two of the world’s best shore dives Eden Rock and Devil’s Grotto. The coral reefs rise in vertical cliff faces from a 40 foot sand bottom to within a few feet from the surface. Both Eden Rock and Devil’s Grotto are honey combed with caves, tunnels and grottos inhabited by many tropical fish, coral and sponges including Silversides and Tarpon. The entry is down a diving ladder is into 4 feet of clear and calm Cayman water the bottom gently slopes out to 15 feet the rises to within a few feet of the surface before dropping to a sand bottom. There are many tunnels running through the reef with openings in the coral allowing sunbeams to light the way.

Off cruise ship. Simply walked about 1/3 mile to shop. They had all gear for rent, lockers to store personals, bathroom to change. Inexpensive. We were 2 seniors and 2 families incl one teen. We all had great time. Easy enter. Many fish all kinds. Beautiful colors. 2 hours flew by. Highly recommend this place.

I can't speak to their dive trips, but they were super nice to let us snorkel off their pier. It's an easy entrance via a ladder, and lots of beautiful fish right in front. We didn't even have to go out to the Rock.

We found this extraordinary snorkeling place after reading about it and were NOT disappointed! About 600' from shore, in about 40'+ water, there are the most beautiful, huge, round, colorful coral formations just alive with hundreds and hundreds of fish. Notably among these, on the day of our visit, were over 15 - 6'+ beautiful tarpon just hanging around in... More

We had a great time snorkeling. We were on the island for 3 days before we could do any water sports due to high winds. The lady was very helpful with planning a day to snorkel, but there was a small mis-communication with renting equipment. Clarify this information before renting.

Within walking distance from the port - that was a huge plus!! We wanted to give our kids a chance to learn to snorkel before a boat excursion at another stop on our cruise and we couldn't have been happier than with Eden Rock Diving Center. The equipment was top notch and staff was very helpful with explaining how the... More

Wow this place is fantastic for snorcheling and people in the center are super helpful if you want to rent gear. Abundance of fish but that also included tiny jellyfish. But the small stings were well well worth as some areas were spectacular.

I can not say enough about this place. Even though it is shore diving only, it was probably the best dive on the island for the money. Betty was the best guide I could ever had asked for. We dove Devils Grotto and we went thru great swim thru's and saw a lot of tarpons, turtles, etc. It was an... More

Andrew not only has the perfect site for diving right off his property, but runs one of the best dive operations on the island. His Eden Rock site, and the Devil's Grotto site adjacent to it, are two prime locations for diving and snorkeling. Loaded with tarpon, bonefish, snook, and other large fish off the wall. Remarkable views

Was and is still one of my favorite shallow dive sites on Grand Cayman. Easily accessible from either boat or shore. Lots of fish with the occasional eagle ray and nurse shark. Lots of very cool swim troughs. If you are certified to dive enriched air, don't expect to dive with it. Being there last month, which is typically the... More
