Very clean and more like a bazaar with the tents right at the port and lots of shops across the street. we walked down the street and snorkeled off the edge of the road at a small dive shop. and then shopped on the way back to the ship.

The port of George Town is very different from most other Caribbean ports in that there is really no visible sign of poverty. No one bothering you for money or selling you things as you walk around. The port area is very clean and has a lot of shops selling many things including the various types of Caribbean liquor.

there is a lot of shops and people offering some adventures. We took adventure on boat which took us to swim with stingrays and snorkl. Amazing! A day full of experiences.

A clean safe spot for an on shore day of a 7 day cruise. You really do not have to go much further if you only want to pick up souveniers, and have difficult walking in the heat. You can pick up duty free, jewelry, tshirts, sarongs, etc. You can catch a tour, I would advise to book your tours... More

Grand Cayman's take on the cruise port concept makes this an interesting stop for everyone. Mix of stores to appeal to most people interests.

I was in Grand Cayman a year ago, where we disembarked in the old port that did not have much to offer, so I was pleasantly surprised to see a completely new port this year. One very positive thing is that it has new, clean and free bathrooms. Also it has covered spaces for people to wait, with some benches... More

Our family visited Grand Cayman on the Carnival Dream. To get from the ship to land, you have to ride a tender boat. The surrounding water is beautiful. There is a pirate ship anchored in the bay that was cool to see. Next to the port is a store that sells Tortuga rum - I recommend that you purchase some... More

Cruised with Holland Line and Cayman Islands have been on my list for a long time. I totally loved the time I spent on Grand Cayman. The blue water white shells and laid back locals, I'll be back
