The beach can get crowded when the cruise ships arrive, but the vendors who work there remain pleasant in peak and slow times.

It is a beach, white sand, clear blue water like many others in the Caribbean, they all look the same, rays can be seen passing which adds a point of interest, quite busy when we stopped off.

Showers, beds, shades and even an adult pool. All of this backed up with a nice restaurant. Pricy but generous. And those caribbean waters are the best of the best. A nive place to spend a day on the beach.

We loved Seven Mile beach and each morning we would wonder down a couple miles and enjoy the beautiful sand and scenery. We would often see Rays swimming along the beach during our walk.

Crystal clear calm water, soft white sand...heaven! Different areas of SMB offer different experiences but it's all amazing!

We stopped by the royal palms beach club after the cruise ship left, it was nice and quiet. There was a bar right off the beach and plenty of chairs with umbrellas to relax in.

I second the Macabuca Bar. You can snorkel there and have yummy drinks. Not much of a beach, though. Or, you could go to Hemingway's. It's a restaurant inside a currently defunct hotel. The pools and bar at the hotel are... More

The beach is free and public. Most of the resorts have signs that say the chairs are for the guests of the resort.
