We have walked the lighthouse footpath several times. This time was unique as the wind was really strong. I actually loved it as the Christmas breeze kept us cool. We had my six year old grandson who got a little tired but there is always something fun to look at. Will definitely do again.

We walked for about 20 minutes but then found it too rocky to proceed safely, so disappointed were not able to make it to see the boobies and turned back. Nice walk, but the path needs more work, ideally.

Go in the cool of the morning and hike out the trail along the cliffs. The boobies are all over the place with their adorable little fluffy white babies. They are easy to see from the trail and fun to watch.

If you plan to go off the trail, do not wear flip-flops. I sliced my finger after losing my balance. Lots of birds, so keep your eyes peeled!

This is a perennial favorite thing to do for us. All the other reviews are spot on regarding the boobies, the view and the terrain. Stay on the footpath, which is well marked. Read and follow the directions/instructions which are on placards at the beginning of the trail nearr the lighthouse.

We sighted several brown booby's and frigate birds. Many of the brown booby's had baby's which are all white. It is suggested that you not get any closer than 100 feet from the birds. The view is great and a fairly easy hike. Good shoes are a must no sandals.

This is a flat footpath, sometimes uneven in places, but not too bad. You can see brown boobies nesting sometimes. There are flowers and butterflies everywhere. It can be a hot hike so bring water.

We walked along this footpath after reaching the lighthouse. Beautiful ocean views from here, be careful though, you are on top of the bluff and need to follow the path.

The view from the cliff is the main attraction in my opinion. Iron shore or devil rocks as I call them are very jagged and the loose gravel make comfortable sneakers a necessity for this short hike. Signboards are very informative and booby birds are plenty. Beautiful large cactus plants and thatch Palm trees on both sides of the road... More
