Very nice botanical garden to walk around. Not very big so it doesn't take long to enjoy the experience. The other part of the tour is the Caribelle Batik which is interesting in it's own right.

Great little botanical garden along with the best gift shop of lovely fabric that the locals hand paint.

As part of our tour around St Kitts we stopped at Romney Manor which is on the edge of the islands tropical forest. Though a bit of a steep walk to get there, the plantation buildings and grounds are beautifully kept and stunning to the eye. The tour will take you through the interesting history of the site and also... More

Second time to visit Romney Manor and loved it more this time as it was just two of us vs 45 on a cruise ship cattle excursion. The gardens are lush with a huge Saman Tree almost half a century old. The batik demonstration shows the very specific detail of making this art form; complicated and yet stunning at the... More

We toured the Romney manor and learned so much about a really bastic art form and so many plants. If you love botanical gardens you'll enjoy the manor.

I have to say I wasn't that into plant life or vegetation going in but this place is stunning and the batik demonstration was really interesting. Beautiful "edge of the rain forest" botanical gardens.

Beautiful grounds. Interesting demonstration of the process of Batik fabric dying. Can visit the ruins of the old sugar refinery.

There are really two parts to this attraction. Batiks and manufacture as well as the old ruins. The batik manufacturing demonstration and gift shop was presented in beautifully manicured tropical gardens. There is a beautiful tree that is about 400 years old. If this was the only item to see then it would be well worth the trip alone. The... More

We visited here on a taxi tour of St. Kitts. There is a US$3 admission charge, but the grounds and plantings are beautiful. The historic building is now home to a batik shop, which has a demonstration area showing how the batik is made. It certainly makes you appreciate the workmanship and artistry that goes into the cloth. They turn... More
