This is a great place to escape and relax. Quality food breakfast, lunch and dinner. I particularly liked the lobster sandwich at lunch. It has a cool pool and lounge area that we spent a few days hanging out at, drinking cocktails and just soaking up the sun. The property is located in a scenic area in a historical location... More

Beautiful grounds with attentive, polite service. Since the whole island is only 36 square miles, getting from Montpelier to other spots on the island takes little time. Enjoy quality without the big price tag.

Montpelier plantation is definitively a must see. It is a Relais & Chateaux place. It will only take about 15 minutes to walk around. My husband and I had lunch there at the Indigo restaurant by the pool. We both had a great cocktail. The staff was very friendly. We had a Caribbean lobster sandwich (which the best) and the... Our tour guide recommended that we visit this popular estate! Beautiful grounds with amazing views! We had no time to have a drink nor to chat with anyone, but we loved visiting. Perfect spot for a relaxing stay!

We stopped by to see Montpelier as a possible place to stay on a future trip. There was no one in reception. We went into the boutique where we were ignored by the staff walking through. We went to the dining area and no one checked with us to see if we were interested in dining or seeing the menu.... More

Montpelier House is situated on the slopes of Mt Nevis with beautiful tranquil gardens and excellent food. The chef also offers cooking classes. We had a delicious blended gazpacho followed by a fresh baby spinach salad with blended fresh local fruit drinks in the small dining area overlooking the luxuriant pool. It was a perfect light mid day meal, one... More

We visited this hotel during a recent trip to Nevis. The hotel is elegant and sophisticated. The owner has very good taste. The dining areas, tennis court and pool areas are designed with sharp clean lines. The view of the bay and water is breathtaking. The hotel is in the hills in a very upscale part of the island. The... More
