Well worth a short visit.

This is a small hot spring that you can soak in. There is a lady with towels for a small fee. There is nothing else in the area.

This place is nothing fancy, but a great place to soak in some warm to hot spring water. It is popular with both tourists and locals.

Worth a visit to experience the hot spring water but it's not a big place. We went early morning and met some locals having a dip which was good as we managed to have a good chat about the island as we cooled off after. Indeed one of those gave us a lift back to town centre - albeit only... More

Be prepared the water is hot but it relaxes you. Make sure you eat before taking a soak. It drains you and once you hit your bed.....best sleep ever!

This is a fun stop when visiting Charleston. No toured needed, but is did take us walking around and asking a couple different people to find it. It was not crowded at all, just 1 other family. The baths are so hot! We walked miles exploring that day and we truly felt better after getting into the baths. Our feet... More

It's just got to be done! Take yourself a towel (unless you want to pay for one) and get along to those springs. You'll feel better afterwards.

Springs from underground volcanic rocks feed small, open air, bathing areas with water at 109 and 111 degrees Fahrenheit. There is one covered plunge pool that a person can actually move around in but the others are in plain sight and open to the hot sun and stares. The attendant provides clean wash cloths ($1) that visitors can use to... More

Don't expect anything modern or fancy. It is what you see. And it's for you to decide if it will have any lasting effect on you. But hey it's free and it's an experience! Make sure you have your bathing suit on as nowhere to change. Take a towel with you and where flip flops. Just walk up to the... More

The springs are HOT! It took a little time to get use to, but felt good on my achy feet. It is primitive but fits with the ambiance of the island. Got to meet the minister of tourism who was there to see the construction progress.
