Somewhere between Union Island and Petit St. Vincent there is a magic place: Mopion - an isle (white sand bar) surrounded by a shallow reef. Simply beautiful! A solid wooden umbrella provides good shade. Relax and roll your eyes over the turquoise sea. It's a dreamy spot, unspoiled. The reef around Mopion is fun to explore. We came to Mopion... More

Mopion is literally a tiny white sand desert island surrounded by a turquoise reef. We moored about 200m off shore and snorkeled in. You could also find a way to get a dinghy there if you're really careful and it has a very shallow draft. So beautiful.

Mopion is a very very small island surrounded by shallow waters and some coral reef. It has some decent snorkelling, and it is the perfect place to spend an afternoon and take lots of cool photos. When we were there, we were the only people on the island and it was as if we had our own little paradise! Mopion... More

Fine place to visit, but really just a large natural pool with a deserted island look and not a lot of fish life. There's one large round coral amidst other coral that is pretty cool.

Just a short hop from Petit St. Vincent, we visited this tiny sand bar during our island hopping sail through the Grenadines. Nothing to do on Mopion but enjoy the excellent snorkeling. If you're lucky, you might have the whole "island" to yourself!

Our skipper took us to the island in the boats inflatable - the reef is tricky to navigate so I'm glad we had him. The Island changes shape and location within the lagoon and was quite big on our visit. No-one else there. Not a lot to do, but we spent an hour taking pictures, looking at messages left under... After a rough swim with a pregnant wife over the corals, we were treated to this secluded island! Not much to do but that's the point, watching the clouds pass by, it's spectacular.

Located due north of Petite St. Vincent resort there is a small spit of sand surrounded by 90 shades of blue with a single cabana - perfect for a romantic getaway. The resort provides day trips for couples to this little but of paradise. If you on on a CaribeSail charter you can also enjoy. The snorkeling was amazing -... More

Not many places you can you find a desert island like this. Nothing there except a straw umbrella. Island is about 60 foot long by 20 wide

Worth the effort in calmer conditions. Plan your approach carefully through the reef. Careful anchoring and then go ashore in a dinghy. You get that desert island feeling!
