We took the Friendship Rose schooner trip to the Cays. This was a fantastic whole days sailing. The crew were delightful and the food provided on board was excellent. It was great to have a trip off the main island of Bequia. Dry relaxing with beer and soft drinks supplied After about three hours sailing we had a couple of hours at the Cays and were taken to a place to snorkel and swim with turtles . After about two hours we had lunch and sailed back . It is a long time on the boat which had wooden benching around the edge to sit in and some deck chairs , but overall it was a great experience which I would definitely recommend

Four of us took the day trip to Mustique and there were about 20 people total on the trip. We meet the crew on the dock at 8 AM and they take you from the dock to the boat anchored in the harbor on a skiff. You do need to climb a ladder from the skiff to the boat, but the crew will assist with anything you are carrying. Once on board, there was a light continental breakfast, juice and coffee/tea. There was plenty of seating for everyone on the upper deck and shade (which you will want in the sun.) After leaving the harbor, the boat sails along the southern side of Bequia, which provides a nice view of the island, then heads to Bequia, arriving about 10:30 at Mustique. We were able to dock at the wharf, so no need to use the skiff to get onto the island. Champagne and snacks at the dock, then the captain gave an overview of things to do: take a taxi tour, wander shops, restaurants, etc. The taxis were all taken, so we walked up the hill to The View restaurant which provides a stunning view of the harbor. Serious rum punch there; quite a kick. Back to the boat for lunch at 1 PM. Lunch was a nice chicken dish with salad and rice. Wine, beer, rum punch, soft drinks and water are all available. We then went snorkeling (they provide equipment if you don't have your own) off the beach by Basil's. Lots of sea turtles and a reasonable reef with a variety of fish and coral. The water is pretty clear for being near shore. The boat departs at 3 PM to return to Bequia. The crew were all friendly and eager to provide services for the guests. We would definitely take another trip with them. We thought it was good value for the price.

This trip is worth leaving Bequia at 8am-greeted by captain John & his friendly crew who served a lovely breakfast immediately we boarded. This ship has such a great history and is one amazing vessel to spend a day on! Captain Johns chat to tell us all about the ship, safety & our day’s itinerary was very informative.Halfway through the journey one of the crew made us move our bags to another seat-within minutes the area we had been sitting in was soaked with seawater! Brilliant observation from clearly a crew who know exactly what they are doing. What can I say about Mustique apart from WOW! On arrival we were served a glass of champagne & cheese & biscuits before spending 3 hours on the island. If you get the chance to do the island tour please do it-try & share with others it’s only a 45 minute tour and the cab will cost you 60 US dollars-it’s one amazing place! The snorkelling was amazing with lots of turtles in the bay. There is a beautifully idyllic beach about 15 minutes walk from the harbour which is definitely worth the walk. Don’t forget to make time for a drink at the famous Basils bar too. Back on board at 1pm for a delicious lunch with as much wine as you wish. The journey home was full of chat with the friendly crew and other guests accompanied by wine, rum punch, tea & cake. A FANTASTIC day to a paradise island-all I can say is take a day off the beach and DO IT!! Thank you captain John & your fabulous crew-a day I’ll never forget. 😀😀

7am the day started with the crew serving a lovely breakfast whilst we sailed out of Bequia. I spent the first hour just staring in awe at this beautiful boat and the crew doing their thing 'hoisting the main sail' etc! As a novice on the seas this is just fantastic to watch. We were briefed by Capt John on what to expect and throughout the day he was full of interesting information and anicdotes. The crew kept us safe and prepared when the seas got a little 'interesting' (pretty mild stuff tbh). Tobago Cays, wow, a little corner of paradise. Crewman Rex pointed out where to find the Turtles and Rays as we snorkelled with the supplied kit. We also found Iguana and green lizard when exploring the island in the 3 (approx) hours we had off the boat on location. A delicious lunch was cooked fresh and served before the sail back to Bequia with drinks included and available the whole time. A wonderful day with a great crew and a fine bunch of fellow passengers. A day on this beautiful boat is a must when you are in Bequia. Hope to do it again some day soon.
