We had a great experience. Crew is amazing. If you get motion sickness this may not be the right tour for you. It's more than 3 hours to get there and another 3 hours back on the open ocean. So if its choppy it could be rough. We got sea sick but the captain and crew were so sweet and did everything they could to make us comfortable. They had so many snacks and a delicious lunch. We saw turtles and enjoyed the beach. If you like sailing this is the perfect tour. Pack dramamine!

Great crossing to Mustique on the schooner. The crew is efficient, friendly and low key. A nice experience if you sail on modern boats, this is different in an positive way. Once on Mustique I was able to walk for a few hours, it's a beautiful small quiet island, just lovely.

This was one of the best experiences ever! The crew, captain, and cook were amazing with excellent service, very attentive and truly supported our group as it was our first time on a schooner with older parents who were not confident about the experience and scared of being on the ocean. It was more than we thought we were going to get, especially the delicious food all day. At no point did we feel unsafe after the initial departure to the Tobago Cays. Take lots of GRAVOL and eat small meals… the team gives you ginger cookies to help with nausea too. Unparalleled service, unreal views, and we would most definitely do this again!

Lovely vintage Schooner kept in excellent condition. We had an early morning full day sail to Tabago Cays which included breakfast, lunch , afternoon tea and snacks in between as well as Rum Punch , Beer , wine and soft drinks . Fantastic knowledgeable crew who took us snorkelling with turtles as well as a varied assortment of marine life . Perfect day and Will highly recommend.

Captain Colin and his crew made for a most enjoyable day. The food and drinks were flowing all day and everyone was friendly. I would highly recommend it.

What a wonderful trip! And a fantastic way to visit Mustique. The historic boat was clean and spacious. Food was nice, plenty of drinks, both alcoholic and non-, to go around. The crew was FANTASTIC!! Super friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The ride over was choppy, yes, but fun! At no time did we ever feel unsafe. (Probbably not best for those who might experience seasickness...seabands or gravol/dramamine beforehand might help). Once we got to Mustique, the swimming, snorkeling and hospitality was great! On the way back, we were served tea and with cookies and banana bread. We were rained on but it was all a part of the experience. We all headed down below deck to sit out the rain and there was plenty of room for all of us. We dried out pretty quickly and made it home safely. An all-round wonderful day!!

Unreal experience. The crew were absolutely amazing, so friendly and fun to hang out with. The food was delicious and there was more drinks than we could drink. The Tobago keys island is beautiful and the snorkelling was great.
The crew ensured everyone was okay during the sailing, if you didn’t feel well they took care of you.
Strongly recommend

I have done this twice since I have come to work here in St. Vincent and the Grenadines. Everything about it was wonderful. It is of course great if you go with at least one other person. But I think you could do this solo. Good time to meet new people. Food is excellent, always just enough and yes the drinks keep flowing. The team on Friendship Rose from cook right up to captain are attentive. Do it.

We did the day cruise on the Friendship Rose together with friends starting from Bequia to visit Tobago Cays where we could observe water turtles and spent the afternoon swimming at wonderful beaches seeing the gorgeous animals in their natural environment. It is a breathtaking trip on a old wooden yacht, the crew was so great. Heartwarming friendliness and we got wonderful meals during the trip cooked on board of the schooner. An unforgettable experience which we will do again if we get the chance to come back to Bequia. This excursion is a strong must for everyone visiting Bequia.

We are staying in st. Vincent and we are seeing if it is possible to go from there in the morning and ferry to Bequia and do a day trip to Tobago cays and back to bequia and ferry back to st. Vincent the same day? If so what would the price be in U.S. currency? We are looking at Wednesday the 11th of March.

I think the answer may be no. It's all down to the departure time of the sail company, in relation to your ETA into Port Elizabeth. Going home would be fine as the trip is usually over by 18.00.

Is there a boat going down to the Grenadines on April 10 or 11th? I ask because I sent an email but haven't gotten a response.

Thanks for your enquiry - we would advise booking in advance to be guaranteed availability. You can either book online directly on our website, send us an email or pop into our waterfront office on the Belmont Walkway once you're on Bequia prior to the cruise date. We look forward to welcoming you on board!
We are in St Vincent at the moment and wondered if any sailing happens this month with company or others. We're worried we are in the off season!
