We loved the beach. It was so convenient to our anchorage and the water was so clear. It is an active beach on weekends with locals, not just travelers. We could have stayed here all day long but a storm came up and there is no protection on the island. If sailing the Grenadines, this is a good spot to... More

We took Curtis' taxi (boat from the Off The Hook) restaurant here for a 2-hour stay. Palms provide scant shade, but the water was clear, the breeze was refreshing and the views are unparalleled.

Sandy Island always looked so pretty and secluded from Carriacou, but it sure was busy the day we visited. I'd much rather visit Anse La Roche Beach. While it's tough to get to, it doesn't cost a thing and you will most often be alone.

Stopped by for a quick beach party on a Windjammer Cruise. This is a small island with a nice white sand beach. There is good snorkeling and many sailboat cruisers stop her for the day. It is also a great place to swim.

If you have a opportunity do take the time to visit this magnificent magical underwater world. Snorkelling dream for the Caribbean. Clear aqua waters generally good visibility. Great day trip.

How often have you been "the only people on a beautiful Caribbean island"? Well, take a short trip over to Sandy Island from Paradise Beach, Carriacou and it can be yours. Fabulous snorkeling and just plain fun. You can be dropped off and just say the word and someone will come to pick you up--just specify how long you'd like... More

We arrived in our own catamaran and took a mooring ball, fees are collected every evening when the marine park boat comes around. As a protected marine environment, anchoring is not permitted and we are glad of that because the sea life is prolific. We spent hours snorkelling and swimming, strolling along the beach and generally enjoying having the place... More

Flew up from Grenada - Allison then took us on a wonderful island before we whisked over to Sandy Island for a wonderful lunch under a shaded Gazebo. We then had a couple of hours to explore the small crescent shaped island, sunbathe and swim in the crystal clear waters. We were then taken to the harbour to catch the... More
