Beautiful. I hear the snorkeling is great here, but it was quite rough due to a tropical storm. Good little restaurant there as well as a local name of Edwin who sold handmade souvenirs. Very glad to give him the business, he was very nice and trying to make an honest living.

A nice bay with no crowd and a single bar/restaurant. In November we were there with two only other small groups. Beach chairs can be rented and a small souvenir shop is available. Some food is available in the bar, but have not taste it.

You need only a full day to travel by car all around the island of Tobago, if you do that, make an stop at Englishman's bay beach. Maybe bring a Stag beer with you and some snacks and this is a good spot for a pick-nick at the beach.

A pretty and calm beach with a observant if somewhat creepy local guy sending kisses to all by-passers.. :) a nice one, would suggest.

The bay is secluded inside a semi dirt road, which requires you to drive at least 50 minutes from Scarborough to locate. The roads are winding, steep and has lots of blind corners. the beach is very clean and calm...however, the beach was deserted at the time visited.

My husband and I went here early morning before 10a. We were the only ones on the beach. Eula"s hut was opening around 10a. We bought some Carib beer and chiled on the beach. We did bring our snorkel gear and headed towards the right side. Water was clear but not much to see. There were fish just nothing exceptionally... More

Englishman's Bay never disappoints for its beauty. Lovely at sunset when the sun reflects onto the water. Pictures are a must here. The beach however was very scary to me for bathing. The currents were quite strong even with water reaching below my knee. There was a deep drop from the shoreline into the water where the waves were breaking.... More

This is a seriously beautiful beach. Be careful to check conditions before you go swimming, as it is a very steep beach with a strong tow-back current.
