Beautiful grounds, fabulous views, well stocked museum. Staff very knowlegable. We walked from Scarborough, a steep climb but if you take your time with a bottle of water it is well worth it

Combined with the fort the museum is worth a visit. It is small so it won't take much time. It's also somewhat random in the exhibits but still interesting. Fee is nominal.
