Great Moderate Hike — No Guide Needed
Beautiful and great hike! Very easy to explore without a guide. Paths were very clearly marked, though the hike to second and third pools do require a bit more agility. They also had notes on trees to describe what they are. It was a relatively short hike -20 mins- and felt like the perfect amount of challenge for a relaxing vacation. Give yourself time to swim and enjoy the pools and waterfall. Bar and restaurant also at site, though we did not partake.

    Beautiful falls
Beautiful falls and very reasonable entrance fee that includes a guide. Drove from Scarborough in about 40 mins along a lovely coast road, albeit with some tight turns and potholes. Ignore the so called guides before you enter and use the official one included. Good idea to get there early as I hear it can get very busy.

Be prepared to stop at first pool or climb a rock face to reach the second ❤️🥰❤️🙌🏻
We visited in the late morning, it was quiet and easy to reach the first pool - the second pool looked like you need rock climbing skills with a rope provided to scramble up. We are 3 fit adults but didn’t fancy the climb up to the next pool. If it were easier to access all the pools I would give 5 stars. We were made aware of snakes nearby too by another family visiting. This wouldn’t put me off as they are not venomous. The climbing was a put off though! 🥰❤️🥰❤️

    Visit to Argyll Falls
An amazinf and beautiful location, great opportunity to see some wildlife and bath in cooling fresh water at the foot of the waterfall. Hiking up the side affords a lovely view from above, its really steep though so be prepared for a scramble or just stay the bottom for a swim. Apparently its possible to jump in to the deep pool at the bottom but take guidance on that because you need to het the deep part. Don't bother with the guide, they do have some knowledge but ours (Randall) was rude and sullen, despite being an 'official guide' capped off the trip by telling he thought she looked nearly 10 years older than her actual age.

    nice to explore
you have to pay an entrance fee of approx 10 USD. this fee includes a guide who will share the rich history and speak about the surrounding flora and fauna. we came on a day with a cruise ship so i'd suggest visitng as soon as they open or nearer to when it closes. there's good facilities on site, washroom, bar & food, souvenir shop. there was even a coconut man when we visited. it's definitely nice to explore the multiple natural pools in the multi-layer waterfall

1st fall walk is easy. 2nd & 3rd falls need safety ropes
The walk to the first set of cascading falls is an easy wide well groomed road. The second and third falls are a level 3 challenge. Very poorly marked with only one assistance rope at the start of the first falls. Safety is a concern, I feel for the admission price to the falls the least they could doo is install more ropes and ad some direction signs.

This waterfall is a bit of a drive through very windy roads and narrow in places but there are some great views along the way.

On arrival, you park by the restaurant and that is where you buy your tickets to see the waterfall. From there you walk along a path which starts quite flat and there is a little store where locals sell craft work. The path is about a 20 min walk when you will come across the waterfall. There are a few small pools that you can swim in but there are freezing and 18 ft deep.if you want to get closer the you will have to clamber over some big rocks which are slippery in places.

You can have an option of clambering up a very steep rock face where there is a rope to help you up and that will take you to the middle section of the waterfall. It’s not a bounding fall but nice for a walk.

Went on this tour as part of the royal Caribbean excursion. The drive to and from the Falls is an extremely windy road, so take Dramamine if you’re prone to car sickness. We waited in a bar area for over 30 minutes before beginning our hike to the Falls. The height of the Falls was extremely boring with every single native plant pointier out to us. We did not swim in the water because we were unsure if there was human and animal waste being put into the stream upstream over we were.

This is a wonderful place, stunning location and we were lucky to see a humming bird.

Please be aware of any guides that advise you cannot drive past the main road and you have to have a guide - this is NOT true! There is a sign posted route to the car park, and there is a trail to the falls themselves. You can of course have an option of a guide who will be able to point out the wildlife etc.

Guides offered on the road will take you an alternative route which is very arduous and definitely was not a short cut as described!
