Before visiting Grand Turk I didn't know what to expect of Cockburn Town. I had images of vibrant and chaotic Caribbean capitals like St. John's in Antigua or St. George's in Grenada in my head. Well, forget those - GT is very small, sleepy and...More

We arrived with HAL. We arranged before hand to rented a car from Nathan's so we could see the island at your own pace. There is not a ton to see on the island but we had a fabulous day. We spent sometime walking around...More

Made our way up to town from the cruise terminal. It's a bit too far to walk, about 3 km but a taxi is just $5 per person. We wandered a bit. Lots of cafes and bars. Didn't come across a lot of ships. Grand...More

We visited during our cruise and took tour of island. It has lots of history and view of the ocean in some spots are amazing. Some areas are run down but that's expected in the Caribbean. Felt safe where ever we went. Unfortunately I couldn't...More

The Guide Books and the Cruise Ship info rate Cockburn Town "must see". My wife and I spent the $6 per person for a cab to town, but were extremely disappointed with the "colonial architecture" that was advertised. The colonial structures were pretty much crumbling,...More
