The water in chalk sound is so beautiful it almost looks like it's glowing! The water is super calm and shallow, perfect for kayaking or stand up paddle boarding (which can be rented from Las Brisas restaurant, which I recommend having a meal there, the views are spectacular)!!!

Beautiful place but be careful. There are WILD DOGS in this area that they were not friendly. My husband & I were actually attacked by some wild dogs. We made it to our car and we were OK but it was an interesting experience.

Chalk Sound is what you see from the air as you arrive into Providenciales. Absolutely stunning views and 265 islands dot this 3' deep inland paradise. Best to rent kayaks from Las Brisas and paddle around for a couple of hours, then follow up with a sunset dinner in their outdoor restaurant. The Sound sometimes has lemon sharks and stingrays... The color of this lagoon is unbelievable. It's unique even for the Caribbean islands with their turqoise waters. Rent a kayak and paddle to the small islands - gliding on this crystal water is so tranquil and beautiful, you will remember it forever. Do pick a windless day and wear lots of sunblock.

Nothing much to see. Spent $40 in cab fare to get there. Paddled around for about 15 minutes and decided to go back. Las Brisas restaurant was nowhere that we return to. The food was unappetizing and service was poor.

Went to this area to look at property and land, and though the location is beautiful and the water in Chalk sound is some of the most blue I have ever seen. It is over priced in my humble opinion. Some of the most expensive land Plots in Provo if not the most expensive.

Our cruise of this beautiful body of water was really spectacular. The waist deep water is crystal clear with a sandy bottom across the entire sound. The homes along the limestone cliff are nothing short of amazing! The beaches are picturesque and perfect in every way,

This was by far my favorite place. Loved the Chalk Sound. We took a pontoon cruise and it was such a great experience. The water was only knee deep for miles. Then we went to Iguana Island and saw tons of iguanas. Got to feed them and take pictures. The water was so mesmerizing. A must!!

Chalk Sound is a beautiful inland body of shallow seawater stretching for several miles. The chalky bottom, which is silt collected over eons, gives the sound its name and chalky color, even though the water is crystal clear. Drive the full shoreline via several roads. Magnificent views from every angle, Atlantic ocean to Caribbean sea. Check out Silly Creek as... More
