Still an amazing view, just not a fan of the sand on this beach. It s better towards Grace Bay. The public restrooms are totally disgusting!

My husband and I were amazed at how much more coral and sea life we saw at Bight Reef just outside a resort we were visiting. We saw turtles, eagle rays and barracuda along with other very colorful fish. We had paid a lot of money to go on a snorkeling excursion where we saw much less than what we... More

Fortunately, we were staying within walking distance to the reef and our hotel provided snorkeling equipment. We were able to view manta rays, and good size fish, since this reef is a protective area. The reef itself is protected at marked by red buoys around its perimeter. Snorkeling is only permitted outside of the buoys, but there is plenty of... More

Worth a walk down the beach... saw rays, turtles, barracuda, lion fish, and too many colorful fish to count. Please stay outside the buoys to protect the reef. Amazing how many idiots swim over the reef only to be whistled out by a guard from shore!

Saw lots of turtles, eagle rays and fish snorkeling from the beach. Small stand there rents snorkeling equipment of you don't have your own.

I must say I was quite surprised to see the reef markers only a few feet from shore and my expectations were not high. The fact was that it is quite a marvellous reef which is never more than 20 feet deep but holds spectacular marine life. I saw a two types of eels, parrot fish and a large number... More

I had the best snorkelling at the Bight reef! If you are a snorkeler no need for a tour! It is just feet off Grace Bay beach in front of Coral Gardens hotel. Parking to the one side for the public and "somewhere cafe" right there with bathrooms. Snorkelling is around actual reef as thumbs up to Provo for protecting... More

Island vacationing is new to me, but I was in awe of the the sand & ocean & the abundance of marine life! I think I saw one of everything including 2 hump back wales! A wonderful experience!

I'll make this quick. This is the easiest location for snorkeling on Provo. The reef is about 10 yards off the beach and you start seeing fish even before that. Also, it's located right off Grace Bay so it's accessible too. Lastly, the water is calm here so it's not difficult. The largest part of the reef is currently roped... More
