We spent six nights at Coral Gardens in March 2019, which meant every morning and evening we were snoreling this reef! We routinely saw sea turtles (including six in one of our expeditions), spotted eagle rays, barracuda, trumpetfish, slipper lobster, and the big highlight was...More

This convenient spot at Coral Gardens is great for beginning snorkelers. There are equipment rentals available right at the reef - fins, masks, beach chairs and umbrellas.

Even though waters were choppy with 5-6 foot swells saw many species of fish as well as a nurse shark. Crystal clear water. Great visibility.

Such a fun and easy access to BIght Reef, just go to Coral Gardens, rent some $10 snorkels and swim out! Beautiful and then walk back down to Grace Bay beaches. Stop after Beaches, eat lunch at Hemingways and finish your walk! 45 minute walk...More

If you have your own gear it’s free. $20 rental for fins and mask on the beach. Right by Coral Gardens-easy biking from any of the hotels near seven stars. Go on quiet day as visibility is better. Reef is bleached out and not many...More

This is a nice reef that is recovering from bleaching. The roped off area appears to be helping. We easily navigated while snorkling by following around the perimeter of the ropes and buoys. Brought marks and snorkles but didn't have fins. Turned out to be...More

My wife and I snorkeled Bight Reef recently and the reef didnt disappoint. We saw all kinds of sea turtles and other colorful fish. They have roped off a section of the reef to protect it. If you go on the sea side of the...More

Having done snorkeling "trips" while in T&C, I saw more sea life in and around Bight Reef than anywhere. The earlier am outings provided more variety of marine life perhaps due to less people. At times it became more crowded and many couldn't stay out...More

Most of the reef along Grace Bay is too far out. Here you can snorkel right from the beach. This secret is well known and there will be plenty of other snorkelers and beach goers but it never gets crowded. In addition to many fish...More

I'm pretty sure the cruise ships all come in over at Grand Turk. This is on another one of the islands. Bight reef is on Provo...so not all that close although they do have a ferry between the islands
