We were looking for a place to snorkel without the crowds. The drive out there was hairy, wish we had a four wheel drive jeep. It was worth the drive since we had to share the beach with only two other people. Luckily for us,...More

Once you get there you will realize it was worth the trip. The snorkeling was fantastic, both on the reefballs and the ancient reefs. Bring your lunch and drinks as it is a rustic spot.

Like most places on the island, it is a rocky road to get there. Once you make it through the bumpy ride the view will knock you off your feet. The sand is so soft. The water is so clear. Not populated so you will...More

Pros: we had the entire beach basically to ourselves. Gorgeous, untouched beach with plenty of soft sands and places to lay out. There is a single bungalow for public use constructed at the entrance. Tons of reef and reef balls just off shore to look...More

Want to get away from the crowds, here is a great beach to come to. Walk for miles and not see a soul.

You have to be looking or this beach in order to come across it. There is a protected area that is being reworked with reef bells. This is fairly shallow and good for snorkeling.

Definitely off the beaten path but well worth the drive. Once you turn off millennium highway be prepared for a slow and rough drive. It will take about 15-20 min to arrive to the beach parking lot, and you will definitely question turning around BUT...More

Our favourite beach - you need a car. Easy enough to get to - follow Millenium Highway until it looks like it’s run out - the tarmac stops. There’s a big Turn Left sign and the Blue Hills Rd is other side of carriageway. Follow...More

We made the trek down Malcolms road in a Nissan Versa rental car. We had no problems, but there is one downhill section that your need to be particularly careful on and take the rightmost track down the hill. Just take your time and drive...More
