Located on St. Croix's north shore, the waters are not always gentle along this palm-tree-lined beach, but scuba diving and snorkeling are very popular here where less than 200 yards out is the drop-off called Cane Bay Wall.

Liked this beach more than Rainbow beach. Bigger and felt a little cleaner. Also has good views with the hills of Carambola in the distance. Decent amount of parking, and there are 3 restaurants within walking distance to the beach. While we were there, the surf was very rough, so we didn't get in much. Definitely was crowded on Saturday... More

Great beach on side of road. Bring chairs if dont want to rent. Popular with the local crowd and wall diving is 100 yards off shore. Can be crowded on weekends

Lovely beach, large, fairly calm bay. Two beach bars serving food, a dive shop, and Palm trees for shade. Saw lots of fish on our snorkel, and viewed the carousel horse underwater about 30 feet past the buoys. The wall is close to this beach, so there were lots of scuba divers here. Great fun!

This is a great beach -- mostly sandy if you go in at the designated area (as opposed to many other snorkel friendly beaches that are rocky), but there's lots to see once you go to the side and/or further out. While there are no facilities ON the beach, there are nearby restaurants where you can get a drink or... More

Awesome beach, saw turtles just hatched, dozens heading to the water, and amazing experience in the middle of the day, hope they make it!

If you're on St. Croix, and you want to swim and snorkel, go to Cane Bay. Friends took us there, and they supplied the beach chairs, umbrellas against the hot hot sun, snorkel gear and fins. We both felt that the ocean here is a degree or two cooler than on the east end, which is probably ridiculous, but it... More

The shallow beach at Cane Bay is a fun and relaxing place to hang out. Lounge chairs are available for a small fee at Eat at Cane Bay or Sprat-Net on the beach. The water is clear and warm, with a sandy bottom that stays quite shallow for a distance. We enjoyed snorkeling the coral reef, and doing a dive... More

The sand is nice and soft and the water is beautiful. Not rocky or full of seaweed. Perfect place to get in and cool off or grab a ring and snorkel out to the reef. Pleanty of choices for food when you get hungry and you can enjoy it soaking wet, no problem. We went back several times and really... More

If you've acquainted yourself with St. Croix, (assuming you're a visitor and exploring the island) you may have come to know several idyllic places where you can kick back, sightsee, get rum drunk or just enjoy a great meal. One of those places you should visit if you are taking in all of St. Croix, (which I recommend you do)... More
