Neat walk through the grape trees to the beach. See the other reviews on how to get here. The day we went a weather front was moving in so the waves were rough and coming almost up the whole way on the beach. It's a narrow beach so with the high tide, we didn't have much dry space to sit.... More

Enjoyed our day here, a beautiful view and uncrowded - especially as you walk to the west away from the access path. No facilities of any kind, and the sand is somewhat difficult to walk on. The day we were there there was enough of a surge that it was a bit difficult to get in the water; did so... More

We were staying at the Shoys so we were able to walk to the beach. If you are a good swimmer you could swim to some decent snorkeling. Nothing like Buck Island though. What is nice is that it is secluded and quiet. If you want a beach with waiters and service you need to go to the Buccaneer. I... More

Tell the guard that you are going to the beach and they will allow you through. The parking area, just outside the private villa, is well marked and the trail to the beach is to the left of the villa gates. It's a pretty afternoon spot, facing the west sun. The beach is rather narrow, but pleasant. It seems to... More

Very nice. Not a zillion empty beach chairs to clutter this view. Water is calm. Bushes give shade........

Very nice, quiet beach located near the Buccaneer. Counted about 20 people TOTAL the whole time we were there. Gentle waves, Well worth seeking out! We will be back again ...and again!

Turn into the Buccaneer, the hardest part is finding the beach. Walk through the beautiful mangroves to get to, nice beach to walk and to sunbathe, not crowded when we went.

Shoy Beach is a hidden treasure nestled at the back of a private neighborhood. You turn in at the Buccaneer Hotel and take that road back until it splits. You'll see a little booth to the right where the worker there will take your name and let you continue on to go to the beach. Then you go down another... More

This beach is like something out of a movie. Beautiful crescent beach with gentle surf. Good snorkeling along the reef at the east end. There's plenty of shade and free parking. It's a bit of a hike, but well worth the drive and the walk! Maybe the prettiest beach on St. Croix.

Went to this beach because of disappointment in the snorkeling at Buccaneer. Still disappointed here as well, as the entry is very gradually sloping, and very difficult not to end up touching coral or getting stuck by a sea urchin. Go a little farther to Tamarind Reef Resort, snorkeling definitely better there.
