BIOLUMINESCENT BAY TOURS in the only clear kayaks on St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands and only one of two operators using clear kayaks in the world.

Visit our bay at Salt River National Park which is currently being studied by the National Park Service and Dr. Michael Latz of Scripps Institute California. Experience the bay that the scientific community was unaware existed until a year ago and now is being called possibly the best of the six or seven year round bioluminescent bays in the world. Our see through boats are the best way to view this definitely better than swimming through it.

Bioluminescence of sea-water seen while kayaking is a wonderful and exciting experience. The guide makes you feel comfortable with your kayak and widely explains the bioluminescence phenomenon. A must-do-trip when you are in St.Croix.

Four of us (two older adults, two younger adults) had a great time on a clear, star-lit night with see-thru kayaks. The owner was at the Salt River Marina to greet us well ahead of schedule, and talked with us about the local ecology, local environmental issues, and local culture and politics. The equipment was well-maintained and a good safety... More

Hi, Myself and my staff would like to thank you for choosing our company. And thank you for the great review. I remember after the tour discussing with you both how you felt our kayaks made the tour incredible as opposed to the tour you did in the bio lagoon at Fajardo in conventional non see thru kayaks. That is... More

I was expecting a little bit more out of this kayak tour. The bioluminescence tour was beautiful and the stars in the sky were breathtaking. The water was great and it was a wonderful experience. The tour guides seemed a little crabby though because some people drifted away from the group and there were some mean comments made loud enough... More

Only one with the see through kayaks and it really makes the experience light years above the other tours. The owner and guide were excellent communicators and provided a lot of history about the area and information about the bioluminescent organisms. Things to know: $60/person cash paid at time of tour Do not bring or wear bug spray or sunscreen... More

Hi, Thank you for the review and taking the time to review us. Myself and my staff are happy you had a great time. Yes we are "light years", above our competitors not only in our kayaks but also in our safety practices and how we run our tour. We show you the bay the way the scientists divided it... More

Tyler was our tour guide and we was awesome! We experienced the Historical and Ecological kayak tour as a family of four. It was through the Salt River Bay National Historic Park area and it was a great experience. We are considering going back for the night Biolumenescent tour later in the week. There is an awesome bar and grill... More

Hi, Sorry but you reviewed the wrong company,it is not your fault as unfortunately one of my competitors uses my company name to lure customers away who think they are contacting us. This has backfired on them numerous times already but the company still continues to conduct business this way. My competitor uses a clear bottom kayak which offers a... More

People were great, knowledgeable and the tour to the bioluminecent bay was nothing short of amazing. Its a once in a life time opportunity to see these glowing sea creatures, and enjoy a piece of rare nature. I actually touched a non-stinging jelly fish and saw more stars on the water than ever before with the rare opportunity to be... More

The bioluminescence tour was a cool thing. The owner and staff were very professional and assured the safety of our group. There were several other kayak tours and Sea Thru was noticeably the best.

This activity was fun, relaxing, and educational. The bay was calm the evening we went and the skies were clear. The staff is professional and friendly. I am thrilled that we chose Sea Thru Kayaks - the view through the kayak left me speechless. I highly recommend this tour.

Where to begin!? Wow! I never knew this existed until the hotel told us it's a must do. The hotel recommended Sea Thru Kayaks and we weren't disappointed. A bioluminescence tour with Sea Thru Kayaks is absolutely the coolest thing you can do on St. Croix!
