I took the ferry over to Protestant Cay, a bargain at $5 round-trip! Once over, you can stay there as long as you would like until the last ferry comes back. I thought I might like to look around to see if on a future visit I might like to stay at the hotel there but there are signs at... More

The "come use our beach for $5.00" is way over-rated here. The $5.00 covers a round trip from Christiansted harbor (about four city blocks away) on a launch. The beach is ok,certainly not spectacular, the the beachfront snack bar/bar is anything but appealing. The restroom/changing area is dirty and falling apart, and the bar/beachfront restaurant simply doesn't look either clean... More

Easy two-minute ride ($5.00USD) from the boardwalk in Christiansted across the harbor to t he Cay Hotel beach, full bar and food service with nominal fees for beach chairs and towels, very safe beach (no petty theft worries) with beautiful sandy bottom and warm water - bring your mask and fins for free snorkeling as well

The hotel is a bit dated but the room was nice and big. Very helpful and friendly staff. We never had to wait for the boat. Good snorkeling at the collapsed concrete sea wall on the north side of the beach, lots of fish.

My son and I were visiting Christiansted when we saw the beach from the distance. When we found out we could ride a ferry across and go swimming, my son was ecstatic! The water and clarity were outstanding. We swam for approximately an hour and a half. It was the most peaceful place to chill out. There is a nice... More

Protesant Cay is across from the Hotel on the Cay, it's very scenic. You'll find many restaurants here on the board walk to please everyone.

we have stayed for years and loved the entire staff and the grounds and beach are wonderful. They have everything you need or want to do right on the property. The ferry offers quick trips to town and the watersports rental place offers all kinds of fun things to do. The snorkeling is the best

Being on a small all inclusive island just a few hundred yards from the main island made the vacation in St Croix amazing and completely relaxing. The hotel staff and accommodation are the best! 360 views of paradise. Complete access to the main island. A ferry runs continuously from sun up to well after sunset. A must for anyone going...
