Main Street was a disappointment. The street consisted of dozens of diamond and jewelry shops. That would be fine. One can go in or not. But the annoying part was that the shop owners would call out and beg you to go into their shops. I did enjoy visiting a couple of local boutiques and antique shops in the area.... More

Go when they are closed. The doors on the store fronts are amazing! But, if you went to shop (especially for jewelry), this will blow your mind. So many stores, selling the EXACT same thing. Just one after the next. I was with my family (wife and two young teens) and we were constantly looking over our shoulder too! (I... More

The principal reason for visiting this street is to either window shop or actually buy jewelry. Numerous jewelry stores line the approximately 4-5 block stretch of road with more down side alleys. Quality is good as are prices and there is much more variety then you would see at a jewelry store back in the States.

Great shops, good eats and jewelry. Don't forget to stop by Jen's and see Marty the owner. Also stop by Renassaince jewlers . So far I have purchased 3 pieces of jewlery that my own jeweler in AZ said were excellent deals.

There are so many stores and shops to check out but way too many jewelry shops. Prices are fair on most things but I strongly suggest go down the little side alleys between here and the street that runs along the water to find the most unique and quaint little shops!

You can walk for blocks and see endless shops selling souvenirs, jewelry and watches. Outside of a few luxury shops most are basically the same.

This street is incredible - it defies understanding as to how a whole series of shops apparently selling almost the same things can survive in such volume. An area to be avoided unless you are a shopping tragic.

The one thing I try to avoid is passing by shops where shop owners try to get me to go in to see their merchandise. It seems this is the going thing on Main St. I was not there to shop but to explore the area and especially the side allies which are fun to walk through with all the... More
