We actually drove our rental car up to paradise point. The views were wonderful and different than you can get elsewhere. There are shops and a restaurant with great views as well.

Sure, Paradise Point is higher than the Tower, but it is also considerable more expensive and doesn't offer the same historical experience and insights that you get at Blackbeard's Tower - the views from the Tower are also very good and, in our opinion, better as they offer a greater perspective of the town.

We drove and it was only five dollars to park. The tram on Wednesday night is only five dollars per person. There is a live band from seven to nine. The local people are friendly and love to dance.

The view of Charlotte Amalie and the surrounding bays and hillsides are worth the trip. On Wednesdays, the fee is $5, and there is live music at the top. The restaurant at the top is extremely casual--not a setting I would seek for dinner, but the drinks are very affordable, and the food looked decent. Reviews we heard about the... More

A bit of a wait as there are not a cars running. The view was gorgeous and the restaurant at the top was sublime. Stunning views down to the ports overlooking the ships. Turquoise waters and yacht watching. It doesn't get better than that!

So it's $20.50 US for adults and $10.50 US for kids 12 and under, and takes 7 mins to get to the top. Get on the last carriage going up for the best view! But once you get up the top that view is AMAZING!!!! There is a great bar up the top and do not go back down without... More

A nice ride up to Paradise Point with a great view over Havensight and the very big cruiseships. There´s many souvernir shops, maybe a little too commercial.

This is the way up to Paradise Point restaurant and bar the other way is walking or driving a car. We came on a cruise and this was our option and 2nd time. This tine was very expensive $22 a person 4 adults. I think this is a horrible price because the buckets are falling apart and in need of... More

Walked here from our cruise ship. $21 per person for short cable car rides. Views were spectacular. We didn't try the food, shops were basic tourist stuff. Lots of stairs to the cable car landing on both ends, definitely not for any one with walking or mobility issues.
