Only way to get to S John

Efficient service on the hour every day. It can get crowded at times and is best to be a little early. If you have a car, parking has now become a problem

The ferry ride from Cruz Bay to Red Hook is about 20 minutes, 7$ per person one way. Good service to connect both islands. Best option.

This is really nice way to get across the bay. You get to see the bay and the really cool boats and the other resorts. I am glad we tried this place.

The ferry leaves every hour on the hour from Red Hook to Cruz Bay and it's pretty reliable. $7 per passenger one way for tourists. Additional if you have suitcases etc. You can carry knapsacks, hand bags etc. for free. Give yourself some time (10-15 mins) before the scheduled departure time since the line to buy tickets can get long... More

Took ferry from Red Hook, St. Thomas to St. John. $7.00 per person plus $4.00 a bag. Clean big ferry which runs on the hour all day. Dependable, on time. They load and unload your bags.

20 or so minutes on the ferry will move you between St Thomas and St John. Its an enjoyable, scenic ride. You can go topside for a better view

The ferry is the main transport on and off St. John. Ran to schedule. Boats are old and noisy. Luggage handling is pretty rough, so keep any breakables with you.

There's nothing spectacular about the ferry. It is what it is and serves its purpose. I think the bag fees are a little steep but again, it is what it is.

Quick way to get to St. John from St. Thomas. Staff helps to guide you onto the car ferry. Be forewarned that you have to back onto the ferry. Usually takes about 30 minutes. Give yourself enough time when you have a flight to catch especially on weekends.
