Worth the short walk

This is a good short walk from nearby Cinnamon Bay. Very educational. A poignant reminder of how hard life was on the islands.

The trail here is very informational and worth doing, but be aware that it is not well marked - we found our way by looking for the interpretive signs along the way. Still worth a visit, though, as it is a short hike with lots to learn and one of the few that doesn't involve steep climbs.

Nice short hike that goes through some ruins and does a loop through the woods. Interesting facts along the trail and a cemetery near the end of the hike.

Nice easy to follow fairly flat trail through some impressive sugar ruins. It doesn't take very long to complete so why not do it?

This is an easy trail for kids and those looking for a little nature without a lot of effort. The ruins are amazing with many interesting facts about history and wildlife along the trail.

We took the hike around the ruins and the woods. Saw lot of deer and mongoose. Shady and quiet- we did this after an afternoon of snorkeling. Ate lunch across the street at Cinnamon Bay campground, then strolled across to the nature trail,.

Cinnamon Bay Trail is mile long, strenuous hike to Centerline Road. This is a self-guiding NATURE trail across the road from Cinnamon Bay Campground. The 1/2 mile loop passes through the ruins of an old sugar factory and native tropical trees. It's listed as "easy" but I wouldn't call it that. It's very rocky terrain and gets a little steep.... Cinnamon Bay Beach was recommended by Steph at the Dog House. We were very surprised to see deer roaming throughout the camp area. You may purchase a drink there if you like. The beach was beautiful and quiet. We enjoyed our afternoon very much!
