This is by far the most difficult beach to get to on the North Shore. You have to park at the Annaberg Mills ruins and then walk about a mile to Waterlemon Beach. Not much sand to sit on but the snorkel out to and around Waterlemon Cay is worth the extra work. Bring water, food and anything else you... More

After walking all the way to the end of Leinster Bay (parts of the trail are the old Dutch Road) you come to a very rocky beach directly across from Waterlemon Cay. Snorkeling was fun- saw Rays and lots of fish. Other snorkelers reported seeing turtles and barracudas. We did not. Walk out is about a mile.

After parking at Leinster trailhead, you walk 20 invites on a fairly flat, shaded trail. In the grasses of the bay, we spotted two turtles. Here you will find a white sand beach. We continued on trail to the point across from Waterlemon Cay, dropped our shoes and headed in to the water. At this point, the shoreline is rocky.... More

The outer side of this island offers excellent snorkeling! You need to be very cautious that the currents aren't strong though or you could get yourself in trouble. Lots of coral, fans and some BIG fish!

Water lemon cay is accessed from the Leinster trail. We snorkeled out to the cay through lovely clear waters . There was a strong current so use caution .

It's well worth the 15 minute walk. This was by far the best snorkeling I have experienced on the Island.

If you are into snorkeling and want to avoid the crowds, this beach is a must. It's a bit of a hike to get there, but the path is level and has plenty of shade. You can swim with turtles and rays at the initial stretch of the beach or hike out to the far point and snorkel over to... More

We snorkeled out to the cay. You need to be a fairly confident swimmer to get there. Beautiful coral! Very good snorkeling along the beach also.

Waterlemon Cay is a trek to get to but but well worth your effort.Once at the beach visitors have a choice to trek further up the trail or swim about .5 miles to the Cay. Please know that you should snorkel around the island in a counter clockwise direction or you will fight currents the entire time. The back side... More

This is a pretty spot, but if you want a "beach" to relax on or aren't up for a long hike then go elsewhere. If you want to be out in nature and don't want the crowds, this is your place. It's almost a mile walk to get to there. It's an easy walk through the mangroves. The termite nests... More
