Decided to come here for the day and pay the 20 dollars for parking but stay and eat at one of the restaurants for lunch so that parking was "comped". Was so excited to come to this beach as I have heard so much about it. The beach is on the highly talked about caneel resort. Wow! So disappointed after... More

We have been going to St. John for 10 years now. we either rent a villa or stay at Caneel. Either way we always spend at least one day on Honeymoon. The ability to rent paddle boards, kayaks and more makes for a fun day and the availability of food and drink is great too. The only downside is when... More

It's a bit difficult to find, at the end of a gravel road hidden in the back of the Caneel Bay Resort, but it is worth it! So calm, and so beautiful. We did an eco-tour from there, then spent a couple of hours lounging on the beach. The snorkling was superb.

Beautiful beach with lots of rentals and facilities. We went during off season and it was a little bit of a walk with all of our beach stuff with us. It was also pretty windy and the water was rough for st. john

Very nice beach with lots of shade from sea grape trees. Easy walk from Caneel Bay parking lot on paved road. Caneel Bay charges $20 to park which they don't even take until you leave but if you spend at least that anywhere at Caneel Bay including rentals and food at Honeymoon you don't pay for parking. Seas rough today... More

The snorkeling was great - there is a lot of sea life to see around the reef, The beach is a great one to relax on once you are done snorkeling. Highly recommend a visit!

its a walk, take golf cart cab if too much to carry to beach. Park at Caneel then spend $20 somewhere and you can park for free.

Headed to rocks on right toward Caneel bay, could see their resort beach as rounded the point. Lots of fish, coral formations, sea urchins. Coming back, a stingray swam parallel to me closer to beach - interesting but wondered if I'd have trouble crossing its path to get out of water but didn't. Parked my chair at other end away... Credit card machine not working. They ran out of food. Staff kind of sarcastic and not particularly helpful. They need a family plan. $50 a day per person for chairs and equipment gets a bit much when you are 5 or 6 people Also why is a vendor in the national park allowed to sell standard sunscreen. Reef safe only... More

Nicely secluded and drop dead gorgeous beach where the breeze is perfect as are the waves. We celebrated our 36th Anniversary and snuggled on our towels near the beach! It doesn't get better than this!!!
