Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We browsed the grounds of parliament in the evening when it was a bit cooler and the crowds had thinned which I imagine is the best time to do so. Take time to read the historical markers, murals, and placards. Milestones in Bahamian independence are juxtaposed somewhat incongruously against a sculpture of a Queen Victoria on her thrown. My daughter was amused by the signs indicating Justices Entrance Only or Judges Parking but unfortunately we didn't see any wigged or robed court officials coming or going. We did however chat briefly with the officers guarding the Parliament building, who politely told us that we could not enter but were free to stroll around.

Lovely building... easy to find on Bay Street while shopping in Nassau. You might have to wait for the picture because there is always someone there.

This was one of the stops on our land and sea tour with seahorse sailing tours. This was the second part of our tour, the first part entailed riding on a catamaran. When we got off the boat we proceeded to an air conditioned bus. The tour guide stopped so we could take pictures and moved on to the next stop!!

Other governments can learn a thing or two from the lack of opulence exhibited here. These are simple style colonial buildings with the heritage preserved.
