We took our 3 and 5 year old and the first part of the museum is a replica of a pirate town - dark, with a pirate voice speaking and mannequins. Our kids were completely terrified and did not like this part of the museum....More

It was definitely a little tacky. That being said it was a good time. There was some good information presented in a light-hearted, fun atmosphere.

I love pirates!!! The worker was friendly enough. The museum was ok, but to be fair, I'm not a museum kind of gal. You exit through a gift shop, and the items are expensive. There is a bar just outside the exit of the gift...More

I read other reviews on this place but wanted to see it anyway. It is a tourist trap that is not good at all not worth the price of admission for sure.

This was a very cool stop in downtown Nassau. It is a self guided tour through various well done pirate exhibits and does a good job of explaining pirate life and history in the region. The kids enjoyed it also.

We took our time on the self guided tour and learned a lot about pirate life. The sets were interesting, in particular the life size pirate ship.

Okay to spend an hour or so. But a little tame -don't expect too much. Very easy to find just a block directly up from the cruise port.
