This place looks like fun and everyone says you gotta go, but it is crowded and you get hassled by the vendors. Just constant barrage of bidding to eat, ride, do/go with them and it started shortly after we parked the car. . . we hadn't even walked 10 feet before we had someone in our face. And some didn't... We had the best conch salad at The Fish Fry...name of the booth Tropical Conch Salad Arawak Cay (???). Maybe 7 or 8 shops down from the start of the fish fry. Sorry no addresses here, see photo. They have a small bar and a couple picnic tables you can sit at while eating. He prepares it right in front... More

This is your one-stop shop for sampling the local cuisine. I'm sure some places are better than others, but everything that we tried at the 3 or so places we ended up eating was pretty decent (we ate at the main places that you'll see most reviewed on this site). Few things worth noting. Many of the places seem to... More

We were staying a few blocks from Arawak Cay, which is known by most people as Fish Fry, and enjoyed the entire experience at this location. The locals arrive late (9pm) and enjoy dressing up and strolling around in a very social event. There are dozens of restaurants and bars to choose from, some with inside seating and some with... Grabbed a quick bite of fried wings and fries from "the Corn Man". (Tasty and inexpensive btw). We ate in the benches provided with toes buried in the sand and eyes on the beach...pure bliss!

We were looking for conch salad and were told to go to the fish fry. Thankfully, we received several recommendations that Oh Andros had the best food in Arawak Cay. It doesn't look like much from the outside but when we opened the door we knew we were in the right place. It was 4 o'clock in the afternoon and... More

Great little area to try the seafood and Sky Juice. Feel free to try it all. We did and it was wonderful! Gets busy on the weekends but we felt right at home.

What a nice event. We visited Arawak Cay twice the week of Christmas. M-F local vendors set up with neat crafts and wonderful native foods and drink. We had an adult beverage and conch fritters from 2 different vendors then went to Curly's for dinner. Great fun!
