We decided to come here while our ship was docked in Nassau because it was a short walk from the pier, it was free, and the pictures looked beautiful. We really enjoyed the day at Junkanoo with the clear blue waters and views of the...More

Our cruise ship was detoured to Nassau New Providence Bahamas. Junkanoo Beach is the closest beach to where the cruise ships dock. It is a 15 minute walk from the cruise ship dock. Frankly, I don't remotely understand many of the other reviews. The beach...More

Gorgeous beach. But SUPER small. It is between hotels and no more than 200 feet wide. Would be a 5 star beach but for the surroundings.

Hot spot for drink specials and artwork geared to the cruise ship crowd that were willing to make the trek. We stayed at a nearby hotel so this was a pass thru destination multiple days and a spot to walk in the water to cool...More

Nassau was our first cruise stop. We exited the port and shopped near several nearby shops. If you exit to your right towards Senor Frogs and continue past the hotel, you will run into Junkanoo Beach. It is just a 10 minute walk from the...More

We recently cruised to Nassau while on a Carnival Cruise. This beach was within walking distance of the port. Very safe area (police station across the street). Did not get hassled for too much by the local vendors. Public restrooms available with showers. Beautiful waters....More

Walking to the "Fish Fry" area of many restaurants bring credit card and cash. We saw this beach and it's local near Nassau and The Fish Fry restaurant area. A nice spot to walk in the sand and take a dip in the ocean.

We went in the afternoon, it was very nice, quite, clear, a bit cool the water temperature in the middle of the summer. The most amazing experience is the color of the ocean water in the Bahamas, sooo beautiful!!!

We walked past this beach daily and most days stopped for a swim, sun bathe and few drinks. It has a few lovely little bars. The beach itself is ok and has a busy vibe. Lots of hassle from sellers but all pleasant when you...More

We visited from the cruise ship we were on, and as it's a public beach, I don't think it would be included with any all inclusive package, but it's worth going to visit for the day!!
