This beach is across from the Courtyard where we stayed. The beach is beautiful, many friendly vendors and no one pressure selling anything. My daughter (10) spent two good days playing there in the water and the sand. You can occasionally see schools of fish. Lots of beach music and a beautiful setting. I loved the Bahama Mamma drinks and... More

We walked here from our cruise ship. The beach is gorgeous and the water is Crystal blue. And warm. The sand is a beautiful white. Bring your snorkel gear! !! Walk down the beach a bit and snorkel out over the seaweed. There's a ton of tiny blue tropical fish swimming about. There's a stall on the beach grilling amazing... More

We walked from our ship to this beach and the view was beautiful. We continued until we went to all the little restaurants "fish fry" and the food was sooooo good. One key thing to remember if you are part of a cruise they will NOT allow you to bring tue food on the ship so eat before you get... More

Glass. Terrible views. Can't swim in it. No waves. Not at all a Bahama beach. This beach is for lazy people who just want to drink. Take a cab for 4$ a person and go to paradise beach. Wow. That's a Bahama beach perfect for everyone.

Four huge ships were in when we visited and the place was rocking. Great service from the staff at The Seagulls beach bar. Close the the shops of Nassau this beach is well worth a visit with a decent variety of bars and great views of the ships coming and going

Our hotel concierge said that we must go there. A lot of sheds there selling food and drink. A lot of local flavor.

One must try Vince and Angel's $25 massage. Here is the skinny... I was attending the ashram in paradise island, and massages at Atlantis were $150 plus. I decided to take a gamble on Vince and Angel- wow, what an amazing experience. Aside from my entire body feeling detoxed, Vince was very knowledgeable of the anatomy, and the changes that... More

Sometimes crowded near downtown, but walk about 1/4 mile down and there are very few people there. Nice little huts to get great drinks!

We were trying to go to the Hilton for the Day Pass but it was booked, so we walked over to this public beach. I'm glad we did. The prices were better and they had everything: chairs, umbrellas, water sports rentals, food, and drinks. The people working there were nice. There was even a DJ who hosted games like Limbo.... Junkanoo Beach is a close public beach from the cruise terminal. It is an easy walk and easy to find. It is also public. When we visited, it was very crowded with other tourists. Being so, there was also a lot going on. There were small vendors and stalls playing music and hosting small games\competitions. There were also stands to... More
