Amazing collection of local art. Very powerful and personnel collection of artists mostly dealing with the history and horror of the slave trade, which makes sense given the history of the Bahamas. If you go to Nassau, you really should take the time to visit here.

The art is fantastic, and many of the exhibits explore the history of the slave trade and development of culture of The Bahamas. Located in a French Colonial building, with a lovely garden surrounding it. Withing walking distance of downtown Nassau.

This little gem is a neat art gallery. A new installation was just placed and it is great. The second floor of this museum had such unique art...great place to visit ...We have been to Nassau many times and this was our first visit to this museum. We were glad that we went.

Many of the exhibits explore the effects of the slave trade and development of culture of The Bahamas. Right now there is a small but informative exhibit that exposes the homophobia of the last decade and the... More

Lovely space, unique collections, portrays Bahamian history. Some made me smile, others made me laugh, while others almost brought me to tears. Friendly staff. Seating outside gallery to just relax. Pretty garden setting.

I loved this little advertised piece of history and culture mecca in Nassau. Interesting and historically informative works of art (modern and contemporary) in a beautiful French Colonial building. Must see. Very close to the hip Graycliff area.

Definitely worth the visit to acquaint oneself with The Bahamas' fine arts scene. Staff are friendly and welcoming (not always the case throughout Nassau).
