Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We stopped at the Bahama Art and Handicraft shop while on a tour of Nassau. There were many lovely items to see. My grandchildren got lots of ideas for projects they wanted to do. Unfortunately there was no picture taking allowed so we all tried to look and memorize some of the items we especially liked.

Nick at Cheryl’s Taxi introduced us to this fantastic shop. So many beautiful, unique, quality items made by 300 Bahamian craftsmen. There are all kinds of nice jewelry, artsy items and we bought some mango pineapple jam that is so delicious that we need to go back and buy more. We’ve been in Nassau for many years and are so happy to avoid the Straw Market and downtown shops and buy some very unique gifts. I think it’s on Shirley St. which is parallel to Bay St. not too far from bridge to Paradise Island.

We did a private car tour of Nassau through Cheryl Fox Ferguson. Excellent. We had asked for a non-tourist trap shop and Derek took us here. Zero pressure, nice prices, local products and got to meet the artist on some things we loved. The surprise when we got home was a little box we hadn't noticed. She snuck in a necklace as a big "thank you." Such nice people. All on Thanksgiving 2014

Very friendly staff, unique shopping, and the sweetest dog named Brownie. Found a beautiful hand painted ornament. You should definitely stop in.

We really liked this place.
It is small but full of handmade awesomeness!
We purchased some pottery, a wooden nativity and some other little random items.
They are the only place we found with the hand painted coconut shell keychains and they are vibrant and unique,
They have a lot of jewelry made out of sea glass, conch shells and so much more.
It's a little out of the way and kind of isolated from other things but other than that it's a real gem. We walked from here to the Bahama Hand Prints which is a short walk but it's the only time I was a little nervous with some guy following us and trying to get our attention.
The staff was super friendly and helpful.

Every time we visit Nassau, going to see Luciana and her store is a must!! She has great local crafts and artwork and is very welcoming! Honestly we need more wall space at home to accommodate all of the art we buy! Definitely go visit and buy some local art.

This is a lovely shop with a good variety of local art and souvenir selections away from the busy bustle of the main downtown stores. We were pleased to find this charming Bahamian treasure store.

Don't miss out on this shop during your time in Nassau. Yes, it's a little bit harder to get to then downtown, but it is more than worth the little extra adventure!
