We went on Tuesday, May 16th. The weather was perfect that day. We had booked directly with Paradise Cove, and had no issues in the reservation process, and check in was quick and painless. The driver was very good and was very proud of the Bahamas. His niece had just been elected as a representative and he was very proud... More

We loved our time at Paradise Cove. The water was great, and easy to rent an umbrella and just relax all day. Love that there is a bar and food too!!!!

We went to Paradise Cove on a day that was a little overcast but it was alot sunnier on the West end. We flew out that evening so it was a perfect place to spend our last day because everything was there including change rooms, warm shower and towel rental. The waters were very warm and there was great snorkeling... More

Beautiful white sand beach with great snorkeling. An underwater camera would be an asset. You can rent snorkeling equipment. It was well maintained. Can go with an instructor(for a fee) or go out by yourself. Good instructions about the reef and what you might see out there. Water was shallow on the inside of the rocks, on the outside of... $83 for and all inclusive excursion to snorkel, kayak, lunch. Transportation was about the only thing that was acceptable. The snorkeling was extremely disappointing. Lunch was a fried hot dog (Sis thought it was tasty). Water was very choppy and cloudy. We snorkel on every trip. Will not return to this one.

A great place to snorkel but the worst attack of the sand fleas on the whole island. They really need to rake the beach. Just go prepared and bring Benadryl in case whatever repellent you wear doesn't work. We must have stepped into a nest. We only regretted going because we were itchy for a week. Other than that, very... More

This is one of the best snorkeling places on Grand Bahamas. Head toward the West end. It takes about 45 minutes to get there. They do offer some shuttle service, but we had a car. Snorkeling is great. Lots of fish around the reef. We saw stingrays and turtles. They have fresh water showers along with food and drinks. You... More

I've been here 3 or 4 times over the years. To date it's by far the best snorkeling I've ever seen. Not sure if it's the same one but I've run into a giant manta each time. I've always seen sea turtles and barracuda as well. The last time i was there I stayed in one of the units. What... More

We have visited Paradise Cove to snorkel 5 times on our vacation this year. Lots of beautiful fish near the reefs. Enjoyed swimming with turtles multiple times. A few rays have been spotted. Even fun on windy days. Very nice people. Great fries and smoothies. Best snorkel site in Freeport.

We came for the day with our three kids (ages 9-13), and had such a great time that we returned the next day! Came by rental car which we would recommend as you are not bound by the bus/tour schedule and can stay as long as you like. We arrived 10am-ish each day and probably stayed till at least 4pm....
