Easy access, unique setting

Right off Staniel Cay, easy to get to. Beautiful setting. Easy snorkeling at slack low. Great for your first time out snorkeling when you're getting your feet wet.

So that really impacted my enjoyment here. Also, had heard you have to dive and swim under something to get to the grotto, but I wasn't making any progress and a guy explained I simply can go through a passage with my head above water. That worked. I saw the beehive-like cave, which was cool but not amazing....but I guess... More

Go at low tide, be prepared to swim and jump if you dare! Oh, and watch the 007 movie before you go!

One of the stops on the all day tour and it's famous for the James Bond movie. It was cool but nothing spectacular. Some people got cuts on the sharp rocks so be careful.

It's okay, seems very variable - sometimes it's packed with fish, sometimes just packed with people. But it's fun and very close to SCYC, so you may as well swim/boat over and check it out.

I thought this was going to be a bit overrated, with it being THE Thunderball grotto, but I was very impressed... beautiful turquoise blue waters and exciting, adventurous swimming / diving from inside grotto underneath the rocks to get back into the bay. A lot of fun - well worth doing.

Awesome snorkel spot. We loved taking photos with the amazing fish. Bring some crackers, you'll see thousands all around you. Careful as the tides come an go if you're not with a guide.

Hundreds of fish, beautiful rock formation - wonderful snorkeling site. We spent at least two hours on our first trip and returned several times throughout our stay at Staniel Cay.

We took a day trip from Nassau aboard "Ma Boya" with Captain Andrew and crew. Thunderball which is located in the Exuma cays is an amazing experience. It's a hidden gem with breath taking views. As we dove into the cave which by the way is where one of the 007 movie was filmed, we were in awe of it's... More
