This is the cave dive from the James Bond movie Thunderball. You can easily snorkel in a mid tide... at high tide, you have to dive down to enter and it can be scary. Awesome fish and wild feeling being inside a cave. Try to go earlier in the day before the packed tourist boats show up

Stunning grotto , excellent snorkelling. Like being inside an aquarium! Go close to low tide. If you are not a strong swimmer do not go when the current is strong .

By far better than expected! We had a boat rental for 3 days and came here all 3 days. Amazing inside!!! Make sure you take time to explore ALL areas and snorkel for the beautiful marine life!

There are a few entrances, the hard ones, by swimming underwater then the easy one that allows access without having to dive under water. Check tide levels before trying and if you decide to swim out the other end into the blue light, remember that it is not blue when you try to return! Watch out when surfacing as very... More

We loved spending time in Thunderball Grotto! We didn't need snorkle gear - just goggles. Make sure to have some bread to feed the fish. Bring underwater camera!

This is a must do when your at Staniel Cay, bring some shoes with you to get into the grotto, the rocks are sharp!! Sharp rocks aside, the view inside is amazing.

Right off Staniel Cay, easy to get to. Beautiful setting. Easy snorkeling at slack low. Great for your first time out snorkeling when you're getting your feet wet.

So that really impacted my enjoyment here. Also, had heard you have to dive and swim under something to get to the grotto, but I wasn't making any progress and a guy explained I simply can go through a passage with my head above water. That worked. I saw the beehive-like cave, which was cool but not amazing....but I guess... More
