- Brian M8 contributionsIncredibleThe experience and hospitality provided by Ardnmurchan distillery and staff was simply exceptional! From first entering the distillery, being greeted by "DJ" to the actual tour and tasting of this incredible whisky provided, it was truly phenomenal from start to finish. Offering an almost hand tailored tour it was perfect for us to skip the knowledge we already know to leave more time for our bombardment of questions :) The whisky is in my opinion one of the best in the world coming from such a young distillery. Cant wait to return!Visited December 2022Written 8 December 2022
- Nicola N1 contributionPersonal, friendly and insightful visit. Highly recommended. On our touring adventure of west Scotland, we came across Ardnamurchan Distillery and decided to make a stop to have a look around. Caren took my husband and I on a tour. She was extremely knowledgeable and answered all our questions patiently. We were very impressed by the bio ethics of the distillery. The cost of the tour was well worth it, especially as we had a wee dram in a complimentary souvenir glass to conclude our tour. The end product is highly recommended and I’m not usually a whisky fan, but it is super smooth!Visited April 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten 10 April 2023

- Stewart500Manchester, United Kingdom80 contributionsWell worth going out of your way to visit this placeI did a tour and tasting of this distillery and loved every minute of it. A fabulous distillery, putting out incredible liquid. Getting here is an adventure in itself passing though the village of Acharacle which was worth the trip on its own. What a stunning little place that is. With the Corran ferry not in service the only route is via a single track road with passing places - almost 20 miles long! That or the ferry from Mull! The distillery is new and looks new and modern and the tour takes you to the warehouse with all the many casks and smells that come from the warehouse. The guide was well informed and knew her stuff and was very patient with lots of questions and while things got translated into French for one visitor who didn't speak English. I expect that we may be back to this place in a few years time.Visited August 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten 4 September 2023
- Mark GManchester, United Kingdom3 contributionsAn exceptional distillery tourA fairly new whisky distillery but one that is clearly set up for producing the best flavours they can, and with great passion. The tour guide was exceptional, offering the most informed guide I've ever been on, all delivered with wit, great knowledge and passion for the liquid amber, finished off with a tasting and visit to the shop for an inevitable purchase. Highly recommended tour.Visited September 2023Travelled with friendsWritten 8 September 2023

Some interaction with the guys doing their job would have added to the experience. Very friendly relaxed atmosphere in the gift shop which was well stocked. Plenty of reasonably priced souvenirs. Quite a challenging drive up from Glasgow on a wet and windy day but well worth it. All in all a great experienceVisited November 2023Travelled with familyWritten 24 November 2023

Another five star review, the most informative and interesting tour of a distillery ever. Not easy to get to but so worth the effort. Two bottles to take back home.

A very enjoyable tour of the Ardnamurchan distillery. Passionately delivered by Callum, a very likeable man who definitely was knowledgable on the craft. Would highly recommend this tour.

Great tour teamed with wonderful customer service in the shop. Plus, I am reliably told, the whiskey is superb.

This distillery is a wee bit off the beaten track and even though I am a big whisky fan I had not heard of it.
It’s a relatively young distillery but the 2 whiskies we sampled were delicious, which bodes well for the future.
The staff on site were lovely, unpretentious, helpful and with good sense of humour.
Magic!!

Went to Ardamurchan Distillery when we where in the area on a short break in April. We went on the tour which we really enjoyed and our tour guide Naimh was an absolute joy and very informative. And all the staff we met on the tour were very pleasant and eager to show you varies aspects of the distilling process. And at the end of the tour you got a wee dram in a souvenir glass which you kept. If you were a driver which i was, your dram was put in a small glass bottle to savour later. A really neat touch i thought We went into the shop where the staff were again very helpful, and found the price of the items on sale were not out the way and bought a few items to take home
All in all it was pleasant way to spend a couple of hours, so to everyone at Ardamurchan Distillery a big thanks
Also would like to mention that just down the road from the Distillery there is a really good coffee shop, smashing scones and also worth a visit
