We took a two-hour private charter on Loch Sunart and around the Isle of Carna this afternoon. It was a fantastic, special experience. We saw lots of seals, had good sightings of porpoises, oyster catchers and a heron. It was great to chat to Andy and hear about the local conservation work he's involved in. We splashed out on this trip but it was well worth it.…

We hired a boat from here as we were staying in a rental house next door. We just dropped round on the off chance they would have a boat free, which they did. We were given an extensive and clear briefing then sent on our way out on the loch. The chap had suggested a route as we wanted to see seals. We took the boat for 2hours and had a great time exploring the lochs. We enjoyed it so much we returned the following day. …

We hired a self drive for 4 hours and although the briefing was a little daunting, once we were out on the water it was all very straight-forward and we roamed the lochs with ease. So much to see, seals, otters, eagles etc the time flew by.

Very disappointed at the lack of information and poor customer service. We booked a two hour cruise and driving from Kilchoan there are no signs identifying the site. We couldn’t find it and there is no mobile phone coverage. When we got to Salen and we’re able to phone (at this point we’re five minutes late), the unhelpful member of staff just wasn’t interested in even trying to help us. No offer of another time or any refund, just tough luck and we’ve lost our £70. Please send directions for future online bookings and at least consider a sign that can be seeing for those driving from the Kilchoan ferry.…
