The Glencoe Visitor's Centre is a great place to start your tour of the Glencoe area. There are displays and a video that tell the story of the Glencoe Massacre and the history of the area from the 1300s to the present. There's also a gift shop with a wide selection of items. Set in the midst of the spectacular... More

There is an excellent display showing the history of the Glen, the social history and the flora and fauna which can take half an hour or more. There are also interactive displays which would be good for children. We were somewhat disappointed with the cafe; seating was limited, the food even more so and extremely basic. The staff were not... More

We went to the centre specifically for a Land Rover safari so I can't say too much about the centre itself. Nice building, usual shop and an average cafe. The event itself was an hour and a half duration. We really enjoyed it and learned a lot about Glencoe geology, flora and fauna. Some information on the infamous massacre was... More

They have toilets, gift shop and an outdoor view. The building was modern and informative but the museum need admission. There were plenty of parking. We bought the map which cost £.5, really worth every penny of it. It gave us the map and description of what to watch for on A82, Ossian's cave, The three sisters, Buachaille Etive Mor... More

Learn at the small museum why the MacDonalds hate the Cambells! A short video is worth watching. We were in and out in 30 minutes.

I booked a guided walk through the centre. Previous to our actual walk the staff member who communicated with me was very knowledgeable and helpful as I was a bit unsure about doing this. I ended up planning my whole holiday around this walk so I could do it. Luckily on the day the weather was kind and we were... More

I was at Glencoe and looking for a camp site for the night to recharge batteries and grab a hot shower. I saw the signs from the main road saying Glencoe Visitor Centre and Camp Site - and proclaiming that a "warm welcome" awaited me so I turned in. I drove up the narrow lane to the camp site and... This place is lovely. We stopped off for the toilet but ended up hanging around for a coffee, a shop and a look around! Didn't realise what a nice centre it was. Very well looked after and would recommend!

Nice centre to visit and lovely views. Stopped for a coffee and found the service very slow and the staff in the cafe area very scruffy. Cannot believe that that much muck was collected on a uniform in one day.
