This was our 2nd visit to St Pancras and Islington Cemetery, the first was a year ago when we found (and literally uncovered) an old family grave. This time we visited to check if the mass of undergrowth had re-grown (it hadn’t) and to clean...More

Whilst I had a particular reason to visit this very large, historic but still working cemetery anyone with an interest in history would be fascinated by the age and the styles of the many many graves here. I felt as if I was in history's...More

I'm not sure why anyone would want to visit unless they had relatives buried here, but the shear size of this place always amazes me. If you're looking for a relative plan ahead, it would take way too long to check every plot.

Don't know how we ended up here but its a little overgrown and needs a little TLC. Its generally very pretty just needs some attention.

I passed by to put some fresh flowers on the graves of my parents, this cemetery really needs some work doing, they need more gardeners, the place is becoming overgrown in places, so sad to see, it needs a drastic makeover

We visited in order to try and find an old family grave, having researched my family history. I had an old document mentioning the grave and grave number in relation to one relative but when I investigated via ‘deceased online’ I discovered that there were...More
