The Windfarm is great for family outings, people go dog walking, horse riding, mountains biking, skate boarding, running. My family and I visit regularly - however last time my car was parked in the overflow car park & I had left my bag down on floor behind the passenger seat while we went walking. Came back to shattered glass, raided... More

Took the kids here so they could see just how big a wind turbine is as we've only ever seen them from a distance. Nice visitor centre, plenty of parking, though only one (!) electric car charge point...hardly impressive for a wind farm!! Anyway, I digress, great for walkers, runners, cyclists, dog walkers... It's free!

For a visitor centre to work you need good information given in an interesting way. This place has some interactive items - good for the kids - as well as lots more in depth notices. A decent café and small shop as well

Had a lovely leisurely walk around the wind turbines and enjoyed the views. Will certainly be back as the weather changes. The coffee shop is certainly worth a visit.

I have never been so close to a wind turbine before and it was positively fabulous!! The day was stunning which added to the experience. The walks are well marked out and access was excellent. Well worth a visit!!

Took my dog and parents up for a walk around the wind farm. It was busy and great to see it so busy. Families with, prams, bikes and dogs all out enjoying the views and of course, the weather!! We popped up for a coffee and as we had the dog, sat outside. Nice coffee and good prices

Plenty of walks in paths between windmills, good visitor centre with exhibition and cafe. Great for coffees after a brisk stroll.

When we started off , the hail came down , but as we were still at the stage we could turn back quickly if need be we went on . Turned out lovely . Great 8 mile walk round, and with good clear paths. Took us about 2 hours to walk round the while thing . Quite soothing hearing the... More

My wife and I visited last week, the whole area was covered in snow which added to the beauty as you will see from my pictures. We live half an hours drive away and it was great to visit such a beautiful peaceful place so close to us, I think especially in the snow it looked great and there are... More

Fantastic 8 mile walk around the loch. Great tracks and beautiful views. Some informative signs around the start. Sadly the centre was closed but brilliant place to spend a few hours regardless.
