We went here for a birthday meal and overall we had a lovely experience. The food was good overall, as good as can be expected for pub grub. Good atmosphere and friendly service and dogs welcomed. Would definitely return.

Pleasent pub good beer. Comfortable. My only critisism would be not cheap. However, none of them are these days. Attentive staff with a sense of humour.

Came across the lovely pub quite by chance. Made very welcome by the owner. There was a varied range of meals, homemade pies, fish, ribs, burgers and a special meals for the little ones. Sunday’s they do a roast.

Been here twice now, for a lunch and a dinner, both not disappointed. I am a coeliac and require gluten free - totally catered for. Phil the landlord is great. It’s nice to still have a traditional pub around. Keep up the good work!
