An excellent family activity! As this was our first visit, we had an instructor who got us up and running very quickly. It's a very relaxed setting, in beautiful surroundings and by the end of the two hours we were all able to manoeuvre our paddle boards with confidence. The instructor took photos (with our permission) and posted them to Facebook, giving us a pleasant memento of a great day. We all want to go again; as we all got our 'instruction certificates' we can go 'hire only' next time, which costs less. Highly recommended. Very addictive.…

We were really nervous but Simon was lovely- really calm and reassuring. There were 3 teens and an adult and we all had a fabulous time learning to SUP. This is the most amazing fun. The session was well organised with perfect pre-session info email and reminder. Simon did the safety brief effectively without being dull and then we headed onto the river. It's a beautiful spot with ducklings, swans. herons and a steam train. Within a really short while, we were up on our feet and paddling in a fairly stable manner. Then it was onto some tricks. At this point both my son and I got wet; several times. But honestly the water was lush and it was immense fun. By the end of 2 hours, I had managed if not mastered a reverse turn and my boy a few additional tricks (if not the hang 5) For 2 hours of instructor time and all kit, the price is amazing. We spent an absolutely brilliant morning here! Not quite sure what we were doing in advance but we’re hooked!! The instructors were fantastic, really friendly and helpful and just SO enthusiastic. We had such a wonderful day and I really want to try it again soon. Thoroughly recommend!…

Came down with 4 other friends for the beginners 2-hour course. The session was really well run, informative and fun. Gave us all the confidence to be able to hire solo next time. We all thought it was really good value. Highly recommended!
