Very interesting little museum in the charming town of Whittlesey. All aspects of life laid out in an informative and easy to follow way and excellent value at just £2 . Also a small display concerning the most famous son in General Sir Harry Smith and Lady Smith which is excellent. Highly recommended.

Had a shortish look round while we were in town for the Straw Bear Festival. A lot of local history to see. Staff very friendly and helpful.
Would like to go back when we have more time to browse.

Went in the door and low and behold was met by this very informative and above all, helpful person named Barbara. She as they say, knew her onions and how and when everything happened. Exhibits galore with fantastic history, there is something for every one. Don't hesitate, go and visit its a must for all that local history

I love museums but I'm sorry to say this place was not a nice experience. The place is very small and most of the stuff I can find at my grandads so didn't find it interesting at all. The only bit that was of any interest to me was the cell.

What can I say about Whittlesey (but I am biased) half the size of a English cemetery and twice as dead. For fenland town history buffs only.

As of November 2018 the current ticket prices are £2 for adults and 50p for children. Apparently it was the first adult price rise in 25 years!
