Excellent village pub with great beer and a warm welcome
Great pub in the heart of the village, the brewery itself is just outside the village and the pub is well worth a visit. Brilliant selection of beers, you can order the rack of 1/3rd beers, excellent pork pies, excellent prices!! probably best in the village and that includes wine!!!. Very friendly staff, live music at the weekends check first!, They also have "open mike" nights. There are a few tables outside at the side and on the path, great when the sun is out!. A nice wood burning stove adds to the warm welcome and excellent atmosphere. The youngest of the 5 central pubs in the village but very much established and very popular. Well managed and very happy to recommend that you visit. Live music nights get busy but they rock!!!!

Great beer and a great atmosphere
The Brewery Tap in Lymm is an excellent spot to pass an hour or 3. The selection of drinks is vast with a large number of real ales available. The Lymm Bitter is a must. There is a very friendly atmosphere / vibe within. It's very dog friendly with treats and water available. Many guests will come over and comment on my dog and offer treats. It's just a really nice place.

Great beers, great atmosphere, great music!
This place has become my favourite local pub in the village. Great ales, friendly staff / atmosphere and regular gigs which are simply excellent considering it’s a small pub in a village location. There’s always some incredible talent on display here. The open mic nights every other Thursday are a great showcase for local talent. Get there early if you want a seat! Well done to Ric and the team on your recent CAMRA awards and for making this pub such a fantastic success. A good example of what can be achieved in Lymm with a bit of hard work and initiative. Would love to see Bridgwater Street become the ‘cultural quarter’ of the village when the old Barclays building is transformed. 😜👍

Love this place, sure you will too!
Dog friendly with for me the best pint of real ale in Lymm and a fantastic selection too.
Sit in the warmth by the wood burner on a comfortable sofa and unwind. Post Lymm Dam dog walk must.
Usually full of friendly likeminded people, which adds to the atmosphere and warmth of the place.
What are you waiting for???

Popped in half way round a Lymm dam dog walk. Super dog-friendly pub with free dog (and human!) treats. Dogs are welcome inside - which isn't the case in all the Lymm pubs. Great service, reasonable prices and all the Sunday papers out on the side. Highly recommended.

This place is home from home! Warm friendly, dogs really made welcome plenty of treats for them! Lovely fire going, live music on some days! Great selection of local drinks, the Porter is scrumptious but I also love a rum with the spiced fevertree ginger beer! Ric and staff lovely and work so hard. Seating outside in summer (or winter) near to canal bank and local chip shop if you are peckish!

I couldn't wait for this pub/micro brewery to open, enjoyed it since it opened. BUT, not sure whats happening at the moment ? the beers all seen to be becoming very similar in taste !, nothing new or exciting.
I have listened to people talking and they have said the decor puts them off, its the dull green colour i think.
For my last visits since Christmas, I have complained about the smell of bleach, its off putting,Costello Altrincham I couldn't go in side, Stockton heath uses the same, I know i'm not the only one put off.
come on Dunham, please sort it out.

If you're looking for fab very local beer then get yourself along to the Brewery Tap. We recently moved to Lymm and can't believe our luck at having such a fab pub a 15 minute walk away. They brew their own beer, Bridgewater Blonde and others which are always really good. They also stock a good range of Dunham Brewery beers with a great choice of both dark and light beers to suit everyone's palate. And, if beer's not your thing, don't worry, you can get cider, gin, wine and everything else you'd expect. The refreshing thing is that there are NO TV's just great music. If you're looking for live music they have Open Mic night every other Thursday where the talent is unbelievable. Check out their facebook page for the dates. As if that's not enough they welcome well behaved dogs as well. So great if you're out for a walk down The Bridgewater Canal with it being right next to it.

Not often you see new pubs opening but the Brewery Tap opened in Lymm village in 2013 selling beers supplied direct from their small private brewery in Dunham Massey. Good selection of real ales some seasonal, about 8 at any one time. Located in a very pretty part of the village within 50 mtrs of the canal, the old post office has been turned in to a pub with a cosy modern looking interior with wood burner and good parking in 2 local village car parks backing on to canal within 100 mtrs. Some snacks/pies are available from the local deli but this is a proper drinking/social pub. Excellent service with a smile, really good tasting beers no problem having a taster, good selection of bitters, IPA's and dark beers, some very interesting beers with ginger, chocolate etc something for everyone. The brewery is about 6 miles away and well worth a visit to see their full range and taste before you buy their bottled beers. Provides something different from the normal mass produced beers.

Head here maybe 1-2 times a month.

Relatively small place but nicely done out and there is room to sit outside albeit you are next to a road in a village.

Great local beers esp. Lymm Dam, but other regulars also.

You can get ‘a paddle’ also , basically 3 third pints for not much more than a reg pint.

Also it is right opposite a decent chippy. What more could you need.
