“The thinking players golf course with a vibrant and friendly clubhouse” A beautiful parkland course set in the heart of picturesque Lincolnshire. Our 9-hole course features both exciting and interesting character holes. Members and non-members are welcome to take up the challenge of our well-designed course and to enjoy our delicious home cooked food available daily. Sit in our spectacular golf view dining areas and try our celebrated Sunday carvery. We also have modern and spacious accommodation on site, as well as extremely competitive rates for events and venue hire.

Our group of 10 family members had the best of times here yesterday. We were given a warm welcome and nothing was too much trouble. The staff saw that the older member struggled a little with her walking so they took care that she got back to table with her food, the youngest member was given exactly what she wanted and everyone felt relaxed. The food and the views are unequalled too. My husband and I will be booking up again very soon.

Just had Sunday dinner here for the first time. Food was great but the service was exceptional. Every member of staff was genuinely friendly and helpful. Not been treated so well in an establishment for a very long time. Thank you all, will be back again. Very week done to the owners you have obviously invested time and effort into staff training. Highly recommend.

We held our wedding party at Pottergate Golf Club in August after getting married abroad. We cannot thank Gail and her team enough! They did such an amazing job helping us organise the event and we all had a fantastic time! The food was great and the puddings were outstanding. We really couldn't have done it without them! There were so accommodating of all of our requests and we cannot thank them enough!
The band did a great job with the music and getting everyone up dancing! It was wonderful to see everyone having a great time.
The brand new accommodation was perfect and those that stayed were extremely impressed. I have no doubt they will be back for another visit.
I am sure we will be back to see you very soon for a Sunday roast! Thank you once again!

Stayed in the apartment this weekend for both Saturday and Sunday Nights. The accommodation is bang on (could possibly do with stronger curtains in the bedroom on the left, but I am being critical here), excellent showers, good kitchen (no oven or hob just Microwave, but certainly met all are needs).
Golf course is very pretty and very well maintained, greens are immaculate and I mean immaculate.
The staff are extremely helpful and friendly. In fact every person we met were more than welcoming, this is a very friendly place.
If you are looking for a relaxing weekend playing golf on a quality course, with quality accommodation on site then look no further.

Fabulous stay at the golfers retreat for the New Year with our close family celebrating our wedding anniversary . Fabulous house with multiple apartments . Top speck, couldn’t fault it . The hosts Gail and Richard were brilliant along with the Barman Joe. Breakfast was fab …. Food in the club house was great and the Sunday Roast was delicious …. Nothing too much trouble . Having moved away from the club 6 years ago I returned for a game. The hospitality and welcome was first class and so nice to see some old and new faces. The course has seen many improvements and is amazing. The greens, wow, can’t believe how good they are. Everything about the establishment cannot be faulted and a credit to the owners and staff. Thank you so much for welcoming me back for the day, I will be back

I have played on a lot of courses throughout uk and I’ve got to say that although this is a 9 hole course it is maintained to an exception level. The fairways are well kept even in this heat, however the greens are immaculate and challenging. It is an extremely challenging course even for the more accomplished golfers.Wouldn’t hurt for a few other club owners to come and take a look at what can be achieved. Gail, her daughter and all the staff are so friendly and will strive to make your visit a memorable one. Food is amazing, even a simple thing like sausage egg and chips was second to none 😊.
It’s obvious a lot of money has been and still is spent on this course.

Played golf here at the weekend and I can't praise this golf club enough. A wonderful course that really tests you, especially the tee shot on the par 5, you have to keep your nerve. The greens are a real compliment to the green staff as they hold well and run well.
After the golf I met up with my wife and children for lunch in the clubhouse as we had heard that you can have a carvery on a Sunday and can only say that it rates as one of the best we have had. Our compliments to the chef and catering staff and also to Gail (owner) and Richard (manager) on making us all feel very welcome and we look forward to coming again very soon

Sunday lunch consists of a hot carvery and a choice of desserts. It was very busy when we arrived, we were shown to our very long table (made up of 7 small tables). We came to the conclusion that each table would normally seat 2 people. The 2 seats without people sitting on them would only just fit under the table. Basically it was a very tight fit even before you moved your arms to eat!
The food was okay, there was a choice of three different hot roasts with Yorkshire puddings, roast potatoes, stuffing, cauliflower cheese, cabbage, carrots and peas. There were 2 different gravy’s and apple sauce. The dessert menu had a fruit crumble, cheesecake, ice cream medley, strawberry and chocolate sundaes.
The lights were switched off in the area where we were sitting before we had even finished which was a little rude. They were very fortunate that we left a tip really!

Thank you for your comments. I apologise for the squeezed tables, on the day you joined us we were hosting 3 different parties and each party wanted to sit together. In order not to disappoint anybody, on that occasion, we did increase the numbers per table for some tables. I am not sure what happed with the lights, we do turn the heat lamps off on the carvery at the end of service, but the main lights remain on for sometime, as the owners family always eat in the dinning room when all guest and finished.
I hope you you pay us a return visit and see that although the cater a number of people on Sundays we manage to fit in all our regulars and guests with adequate seating and space per person.
